A wonderful place to stay in. I was a "solo traveller" clean rooms, efficient staff, good food, all monitored by the very efficient Mr.Praveen Nair, Manager,who was available 24*7 to assist. "as and when required" Definitely will recommend to friends and Family.

We got this property as part of a package since we were looking for a low-cost hotel, as we had a day trip to Kanyakumari and needed a room just for a few hours before our early morning flight. Had I known how shady this place looked, I would’ve never booked it. The road leading from the main road to the hotel is narrow, poorly lit, and feels unsafe — you could easily trip or fall while walking. They even use a wheelbarrow to carry your luggage from the main road to the hotel. The ACs didn’t work properly despite repeated complaints, and the washroom had only a single CFL bulb, making it dim and uncomfortable. Even during our short stay, the experience was far from satisfactory. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone.

Reading some of these reviews leaves me wondering what people expect for how little they’re paying to stay at this charming hotel. We had a fantastic seven nights at Ocean Bay and were made to feel extremely welcome and even more comfortable. We had the best room on the top floor (404) - a corner room with wonderful views over the coconut grove. We asked for a fridge - and were promptly given one. We asked for extra mattresses - and were promptly given them. We asked for a room we could freshen up in as we had a late airport pickup on the day we checked out - and were promptly given a late checkout. The staff couldn’t have done more to be more accommodating. Breakfast was delicious - not much variety - but tasty all the same. The laundry service was excellent and they were only too happy to arrange a private taxi for a day trip and for a very reasonable rate. The hotel is located at the back of the beach - not a five minute walk - and was lovely and quiet at night. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and can highly recommend it for the more budget-conscious traveler.

This property sits back from the beach about 100m, making it quiet and peaceful, with many birds singing in the morning. The bed was cozy and the bathroom was clean. This is a great stay for a budget hotel. Kovalum Beach is really scenic as well.

Great location. Nice service. Good ambience staffs are good manners 100 meter walking distance from beach. Very good breakfast we taken from ocean bay. Beaches are very clean and nice .i recommend this hotel for family stay very safe and clean hotel

The experience was very Good. Rooms, staff were very Good. The most important things was that the hotel is on walking distance from the beach.We have Dinner in hotel the food was very good in terms of quality and taste. The morning breakfast was also too good.
