Staff friendly and hotel great but ....
My wife and I came to the area for a weekend (stayed 2 nights) get away to shop and relax. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean and nice. Check in was easy but also was the problem. The gentleman said that the computer was running slow but said we were all checked in, gave us room keys and explained everything to us. However on the The second night we were there someone tried to enter our room at @ 11pm and asked if some ofone was in there. Didn't knock just tried to enter. Told them someone was in here and they left without anymore issues until the morning when we were getting packed up to leave and housekeeping tried to enter. When we talked to them, they said their sheet said we already checked out. When we went to check out and talked with the lady at the front desk and explained what happened, she looked up our reservation and it said that we never checked in and was a no show. While did explain that was why someone tried to enter our room and she was polite and courteous, there was never any apologies or further explanations. While the room and all other accommodations were great, it left a bit of a bitter taste in our mouths and on edge that someone tried to come into our room while we were sleeping. How is it that they said we never checked in but our key cards worked fine and the maid service said we already checked out?

The beds were horrible, the faucet in the bathroom leaked, had to put a cloth around it so water wasn’t all over the counter. The safe was locked on arrival so I went to front desk , they said they would have someone unlock it. Next day safe still locked. Went to front desk and was told “oh ya we lost the master key and the new one hasn’t arrived” so was unable to lock up travel documents/valuables

Horrible experience
We got there and stayed in our first room a king with a pull out. We couldn’t sleep because we was on the 3rd when we requested to be on the 4th floor. People staying on the 4th floor was running and jumping all night long. Next morning we was moved to a double queen on the fourth floor. The noise was fine but the beds were horrible. We didn’t sleep at all. Next thing was we went out for the evening and came back and all you could smell was **** outside and inside the hotel. That is not acceptable.

Never holiday inn express again
The bathroom was horrible. Toilet seat broken, ceiling light was rusted and had mold growing in the cover. The bathroom ceiling also had mold and drywall was peeling and falling. Noise above our room was also terrible.

Upon arrival, our toilet was dirty and we were switched to another room next door. That toilet was also dirty. We were told housekeeping was gone for the day so rather than continue to change rooms, we asked the front desk for gloves and a toilet brush and disinfectant cleaner and we cleaned the toilet ourselves.

The property was great. We will stay there again if we go back. Rooms were clean. Staff was fantastic. Pool has entirely way to much chlorine. The shower was great for great but every shower i felt like i needed another shower as there was residue out soap not coming off. Maybe water softener. But great place.

I usually dont review hotels, when we open the sofa bed it was gross, the mattress heavily stained, garbage underneath and you have to go to the front dwsk to get the linens.
Huge problems with water they put way to much water softener, you feel like you are showering with slime, I didn't let me children's use the shower, apparently is a problem they know and don't do anything aboit it.
Great location thats about it, only frendly and helpful personal in todays check out.
