酒店是一个看起来非常酷的地方，靠近购物和餐饮场所。工作人员很乐于助人。房间看起来不错，但是房间里的两个床架都坏了，而且倾斜得很厉害，感觉就像我从床上掉下来一样。我通过用毛巾支撑每张床来解决这个问题，但不得不这样做有点荒谬——有史以来第一次在酒店。房间在晚上也非常吵闹，并且随着某种发电机或外部空调不断运行而振动。很难入睡或保持睡眠状态。对于一个很酷的地方来说很不幸。当我们在那里时，酒店正在举办一场私人活动，尽管工作人员鼓励我们在酒店内自由活动，但还是很尴尬，因为这个地方几乎被一群人占据了。小型室外庭院区域本来是一个很酷的闲逛场所，但在被接管后这实际上是不可能的。代客泊车的人把我们的车做得很好。老实说，由于睡眠条件不好，下次我必须三思而后行。

糟糕的浪漫周末

我们的房间有漂亮的落地窗，但窗帘打不开，因为我们离代客泊车处只有五英尺，而且周围人流量很大。而且噪音也很大，汽车进出频繁，喇叭声不断，代客泊车员还把钥匙放在口袋里，让汽车一直开着，这样汽车就会一直鸣笛，直到他回来。我们离电梯也只有几英尺远，所以我们能听到走廊里的每一句对话，电梯也能听到。

墙壁和天花板也非常薄，我几乎没睡着，因为楼上的人发出沉重的撞击声、持续不断的谈话声、汽车鸣笛声等等。我们向前台反映这些问题后，前台就不让我们睡觉了。

The staff seemed ill trained for customer service. The rooms were blander than expected. We could not get the audio to work in the fitness center. A serviceable hotel but nothing to write home about.

Excellent food & service for breakfast. Beautiful renovated buildings connected with new compatible architecture make this hotel special in this historic part of Asheville.

Excellent hotel/service

This hotel was booked as part of a last minute travel change. We chose it due to location and the look of the hotel. We absolutely loved the whole vibe, the staff and the valet. The hotel decor is beautiful and cozy. We were able to walk everywhere. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Asheville in the future.

Pros and Cons

This is a beautifully renovated hotel of an historic building. The devil is in the details. Hidden fees everywhere, some of them quite substantial. And then there were a little annoyances, like no spoon for the coffee. Flickering light in the bathroom. Room freezing cold, but you can’t turn off the fan. Check in time isn’t until 4 o’clock and believe me you’re sitting in the lobby until then.

Very beautiful building. The bar area and grassy area out front with the chairs were nice. The showers in the morning lacked full hot water. The linen on the bed was worn enough to have holes in them. The plugs in the lamps did not work. Overall, 4/10 stay for the price of the hotel.
