Check in was great. Room looked worn but not bad. Bathroom looked like it had just been cleaned but missed some spots. Like hair on shower wall any stains on toilet lid. Closet door was also broken. Breakfast was great.

We were told to check in anytime after 3:00, but when we arrived we had to wait because the room was not ready. It was just about 4:00 when I asked if room was ready yet. I have never had to wait for a room to be ready. Especially when it was paid for in advance and we arrived about 25 minutes after check in time. Also we were told they had no early check in times. This room should have been ready to go, why was it not?

I wasn't happy with the fact that I had already picked a room before I arrived at the hotel, and when I arrived, my room was given away, and they gave me whatever room they wanted.

The staff was great and the breakfast in the morning was incredible. Best well stocked "continental" breakfast I have ever experienced. Great eggs mixed with bacon, tator tot potatoes, waffle bar with whipped cream and other toppings, toast, bagels, fruit, yogurt, hot oatmeal, coffee, juice bar, and more.
My one negative is that there are things seriously worn out and need to be replaced here. Desk in room had major chipped damage all over it, carpet was lifting in spots in the room, couch had seam tears and a bleach spot, lamp shades had broken spots, window blind was stained. The pool area was nice, but same story there. Wicker lounge chairs with big torn hole, cushions torn, etc.
