A beautiful historic home updated with all the modern amenities, a five minute drive to Horicon Marsh. When we arrived at the inn, we were greeted with the lovely aroma of autumn pumpkin and the sound of soft music, provided by Alexa. Just ask Alexa to change your music or wake you up in the morning. Each bedroom is decorated beautifully; some with fireplaces, others with walk-out balconies. The parlor and dining rooms, on the main level, have multiple cozy sitting areas, with books, games and puzzles. The second floor has a shared coffee station (with an ample selection of coffees and teas), refrigerator and microwave. Kristen is a delightful host and has thought of everything to make one's stay perfect! While the town of Horicon is small, it has a number of good restaurants with delicious home cooked food--Mother's Day and Ginger's Hideaway are favorites.

The rooms of the Honeybee Inn are nothing short of stunning. The ground floor is full of beautiful wood craftsmanship and well appointed decor. The building has been well taken care of/restored that you feel as if you've stepped back in time. The bedrooms are just as lovely with super comfy beds, grand fireplaces and who doesn't love a whirlpool tub in their room. Our host was attentive and communicative making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. If you're a birder you'll be right by the horicon marsh and will enjoy all the nods to the birds throughout the home. A delightful place to stay.

This was my second time at the Honeybee Inn. I stayed in a different room. I absolutely love this inn and Kristen, the owner and manager. It is a lovely place rich with history and a warm and welcoming vibe. We had a wonderful stay. If I come back to this area I will definitely stay here again. Room was lovely, bed was comfortable, tub was fabulous, food was yummy, all rooms were cozy and inviting. What's not to love ?

Honeybee Inn is just so lovely. Kristen was so warm and welcoming - we immediately felt comfortable and well informed. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous and our room was perfect. Everything was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We didn’t have a chance to stay for breakfast, but we definitely will the next time we stay.

What a wonderful location to spend a quiet weekend in rural Wisconsin! The building and rooms were amazingly clean and well-cared for, while the bathroom had been upgraded to the "latest and greatest". The owner/innkeeper was informative, responsive and quite engaging. Can't recommend highly enough

The Honeybee Inn was perfect for a quick weekend getaway with my boyfriend. Kristen the owner keeps the house spotless! It’s an old house with beautiful stained glass windows & quaint suites perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway. We loved the detox with chromotherapy as well! Location is walking distance to everything. Kayaking the marsh at Blue Heron Landing was perfect, and dinner at Ginger’s Hideaway was delicious. Thank you so much Kristen!!! ❤️

Beautifully decorated home with original woodwork. Our bedroom with en-suite bath was lovely and bedding very comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony off our room. Excellent breakfast and coffee and tea available all hours . We enjoyed the location which was a short walk to the river, parks and marsh tour. Only a mike walk to the views of the Horicon marsh. Located in a lovely town with access to kayaking, bike trails and other activities. Kristen is an excellent host.

The Rock River is a very relaxing river to kayak or canoe, and YES, the marsh tours on a pontoon boat ride are a favorite. The owners of the Blue Heron Boat Tours are fun and very knowledgeable about this whole area. Jodell (owner) is a queen behind the counter, making muffins and pastries, Blue Heron offers a great breakfast option to the area and they make the best Bloody Mary's.
