The park itself was clean and offered everything we needed. The pool was great shaded and inviting. Unfortunately the staff were not welcoming at all. In fact the boss lady intimidated her staff so much she was scared to ask her questions. Sad really but hey get past that and you don't have to deal with it.

Have stayed here a few times in a couple of different rooms and as I say get a prospector room and you’ll be set. Not ideal if you’re in some of the older, not as nice dongas and your neighbour is half-arsing night shift so they sit out the front making a racket at 3am. Parking options vary from plentiful up the northeast, to narrow with exposed rocks down the south so be careful reversing. Haven’t found the admin chick very friendly either. Gym and the games room are welcome additions. Laundries and cold water stations are good. Need to get rid of a few stray cats kicking around. Have never had an issue with the mess, there’s always been a couple of decent food options. Just remember to add a bit of water to the cordial from the fountain, they mix it strong!

Advertised as having disabled facilities. Separate male and female ammenities, not unisex, so I had to go into gents bathroom to assist my husband. Ladies accessible bathroom was ‘out of order’ There was a path but a 10cm step to enter ammenities and a closed screen door. No basin in bathroom to shave or clean teeth and outside basins not accessible at all. Just wish these parks would put more thought into disabled ammenities. Plenty is done to accommodate workers !! Shouldn’t be this difficult to shower, shave and sh*t just because your’re in a wheelchair

A fabulous caravan park very generous sized van sites. Amenities were absolutely spotless. Was served by a delightful lady. And wow free washing machines and dryers along with complimentary laundry powder. A very quite caravan park. Nice camp kitchen with pizza oven. Nice looking pool.

A large caravan park that seemed mainly focused on cabin accommodation for temporary workers in the area. Not a huge number of caravan sites - hence the recommendations we read to book in advance. Van sites are well back from the road and protected from road noise by all the cabin accommodation. Sites are shaded by lots of mature trees, had a good camp kitchen and a clean & good condition amenities block.

Found it difficult to believe this was the entrance as it had three-trailer road trains parked all around it. Discovered that it’s more a place for mine workers, including those driving the road trains, than for travellers. Nonetheless there were travellers. Having arrived just on dark I didn’t get a chance to look around until the morning. It is a clean neatly presented quiet park with a good attempt at providing gardens under challenging circumstances. The laundry is free but it can be a challenge to get space on a clothes line. There are driers. There is a clean basic camp kitchen. The amenities block is kept clean. Staff are friendly.

This park is going through renovations for more FIFO accommodation and is very dirty and dusty. The amenities are clean and tidy, the BBQ's didn't work in the camp kitchen. If your looking for a campsite you need to book as there are not a lot of sites available.
