What can I say, the view? hospitality? service? timing? I think all together!! Excellent location of the premises, everything starts from there, restaurants, coffee places, patisseries, organised beaches, the lot!! most helpful staff, eager to help and advise. As for the room, the photos below speak for themselves!! The timing refers to the full moon! Full continental breakfast(loved the hand made cheese and spinach mini rolls) The bedroom is fully equipped and has a huge and very comfortable double bed!! Bottom line, we will be back(hopefully) in September. Well done Astros Beach!!!!

We booked on a recommendation and had not read the bad reviews. I am glad we did as our stay was fine. Aircon worked quietly. Staff were friendly although do not speak much English but that was never a problem . Room was clean ( we had a seaview balcony room 203) You need to ask for your room to be serviced but clean towels were provided. Breakfast was good - plenty of choice and lovely to sit out near the sea with breakfast and be entertained by the ducks! The hotel is in a good location because its on the front, but at the quiet end opposite the marina sohas lovely views from the front rooms.

Terrible hotel! Very smoky and the air conditioning doesn’t work. No screens on windows or doors, and no fans. We were supposed to stay for 6 nights but checked out after one. They refused to refund for the remaining 5 nights. Be aware of this hotel. The employees lie about fixing the air conditioning from previously read reviews. They smoke in the downstairs lounge area which travels up to the rooms. Cleanliness is mediocre at best. The mattress was stained on the corner. Looked like a dog lifted its leg on it.

We've stayed in this hotel several times in the past. The experience was good. Since the last time we were there (3 Years ago) the hotel has deteriorated quite a bit. We did not have hot water for 3 days. I immediately brought this to the attention of the front desk on day one. and was assured that it would be fixed. I was informed that it was due to a bad fuse. Day two, no hot water again. This time the response was........ "It will be fine you won't need to worry about it any more because you are leaving tomorrow". We checked out and moved to the hotel next door. Our friend, who was in another room was missing a toilet seat. When he mentioned this to the front desk, their response was "We know, it happened yesterday" (That was it... No effort to address the matter) My friend asked for another room and was told that none were available. He went three days without a toilet seat. At least the breakfast was edible. We will not be staying there again. P.S. No offer of financial credit or discount was ever extended.

We have been coming to this hotel for years with family and friends, loving the location and amenities. This trip has been very sad for this hotel because it has deteriorated. Bathroom with no toilet seat, no shower doors. No hot water each morning. Dead bugs on the floor. Such a beautiful hotel and perfect location, only if they maintained it. It was embarrassing to bring our friends here.
