We had a double queen pet friendly room. Everything was acceptable until we got to the beds. One sunk to the bottom and had torn sheets. The other bed was firmer, but the comforter was a nightmare mishmash of old stains. Bad bad bad. Between the two beds, we got enough cleanish bedding to sleep. By far the worst AmericInn we've ever stayed at.

This is a great little hotel. Not luxurious, but everything worked. Our room was clean and correct. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Responsive staff. We were very pleased.

Nice walking path nearby. Traffic was very noisy early in the evening, but quieted down nicely and I was able to sleep well. Rooms claim to be sound proof, but I could hear the person in the next rom sneezing. Decent variety of breakfast choices. Would stay here again.

I did NOT stay at this property because they say they pet friendly but only have a very small amount of rooms are indeed pet friendly. They did not have one available for us and our pet when we arrived and checked in so we wanted to cancel and get a refund…but they would NOT LET US!!! Still dealing with this nightmare and their horrible manager Cheyenne.

The front desk clerks were very nice. We appreciated the breakfast. Biscuits and Gravy were very good. Waffles, cereal, sausage, juices, chocolate milk, bagels, toast. Housekeeping was friendly. The hotel is a little outdated. Little musty smelling. Showers did not drain properly, the tub filled with water when showering.

We’ve stayed at this property a few times in Lady Smith Wisconsin since there is only two major hotels in the area close to our son, daughter in-law and grand babies,

first said Couldn't find my reservation then when I showed her on my phone she found it then charge my card three times and kept telling me it wasn't going yet on my end it was showing processed. Manager came in at 2:00 AM and fixed it. Room was filthy bed cover had blood dropped and stained urine. The bathtub was dirty I couldn't use the whirlpool in the room it was dirty and had hair from previous Person. Their air conditioner made clicking in and loud noises every time it came on. I checked out two days early they never said anything and never refunded my money for the other two days that I checked out early. I've stayed here years ago and it was great this is one of the worst experience and I would never recommend this place. Even when I checked out and gave them my room keys they didn't even acknowledge it. I paid for 4 nights I was only able to stay two cause I just couldn't do it anymore I wasn't sleeping I couldn't turn the lights off because I was afraid of what might come crawling out. I even went and bought a sleeping bag to sleep in

Overall the stay was OK to Good. The room was fine. The bed was comfortable and cleanliness was ok. Our only disappointment as the poor quality of the towels and the breakfast. Our first day the 3rd shift person who was to make the hot food never did. When first shift came in an hour past the start of breakfast time, she had to hustle to get things in order. Many including us grabbed a banana or a bagel and left hungry. The quality of the breakfast was minimal.

We had ordered new towels to replace our towels within the last month and had some back ordered, but have since received them and switched out older towels. As far as the breakfast, we are very sorry about this one day. Unfortunately the overnight person ended up getting really sick toward the end of their shift and had put out the food that wasn't temperature or time control specific (like the cereal, breads, juice, yogurt, donuts). They tried to lay down until someone came in, but unfortunately missed the alarm. This is not something that is typical and is a situation that came up suddenly and did not work out how we would have wanted. Our staff are not encouraged to come to work if they are sick and they do have access to masks for situations like this that may warrant it. The employee did wear a mask that night while putting out breakfast. Please connect with us if you have anything more specific to discuss. Again we apologize and will use this opportunity to improve.
