酒店回复: Thank you for your great review. I would like to comment on your "concerns". The lighting at the corner over the table - there is one there , a floor stanfding one. The shower design =can't change. The "hhoks" for the towels - there are two towels stands in the toilet/bathroom, so there is no need for hooks. Luggage racks. these are normally supplied by hotel where you only get one room. Here you get a whole Apartment with loads of places for you to store your suitcase so there is no need for luggage racks.We are replacing the chairs around the table as they are past their best as you correctly pointed out. This is the first time that we been to Stranraer and must say as 2 couples, we really enjoyed our stay, at the QUAY HEAD APARTMENTS I would have loved to have given 5 stars but perfection is ni impossible to achieve. The staff is excellent, and Colin, the owner, was very amicable, friendly, and a very dry person. In humour, we could not fault the apartment.The entry system, after a couple of days, we got used to it. We Would personally recommend the supart hotel?Excellent

Great place to stay. Clean, roomy, well appointed and it has free long-stay parking across the street. Much better than a conventional hotel!

Very nice apartment very spacious and clean, friendly staff and a couple of nice places to eat ( The Swan Inn and Ocean Blue probably one of the best Chinese meals we’ve had in a long time and plenty of it. )

A gem on Stranraer Quayside
Although we only stayed for a very brief time, we very very impressed with the accommodation at Quay Head View. Very clean, very spacious and very comfortable. Lots of nice touches.
The communication with Colin was great, particularly as we were running late and didn't arrive until after 23:00. Much appreciated.

Our flat, Apartment 5, was a great flat with all that you may need and even more (Loved that it has an Echo, an air fryer (The first time we have one in a holiday rental), a washing machine, a bed with an amazing mattress and pillows, It is the first time I sleep in a bed which is not mine and I do not get neckaches in the morning after the first few nights…).
The flat is spacious, comfortable, decorated with taste, clean, and was offering a lot. It was perfect for the two of us
It is well located, very central, and within walking distance from the Stranraer shops, the museum, historic sites, and most of the restaurants.
There is a free car park two minutes walk from the apartments, we could our car from our windows as well as the east harbour which is opposite the building.
The apartment building is also very close (with a car) to a lot of sites we visited, among them, different lighthouses, Port Logan, Portpatrick, and our favourite place, Sandhead, with its wonderful beach. The tourism office, just opposite the flats, is worth a visit.
All in all, we really enjoyed our week over there, and we will definitely stay there again when we are next in the area.

Lovely clean apartment, only real issues were the TV is on the same wall as the sofa, so you can’t really watch it, although we were only staying one night so it wasn’t a problem. The mattress is very soft, which would be great for anyone who likes that, but we both woke up with bad backs. The star was knocked off because the blind in the living room was broken and there was no lock on the bathroom door, but for the price, and the location, I would absolutely recommend it to a friend.
