Room was clean and place decorated cute for Halloween. Just very dated and the area was a little sketchy. Staff was nice. No elevators so you have to carry luggage up the stairs.

We left and never stayed. The rooms smelled of mold and mildew. The room had a heavy, wet, moisture feeling and one bathroom had unfunctional lighting. Receptionist said she could get someone to fix the lighting issue the following day but as for the mold, she said she was only the Receptionist.

Loved the core in the entryway, and the pumpkins out front. Did not like cosmetic things such as the carpet, and I did not like how well lotion and soap were able to be open by anybody. Cautious about whatPrevious hotel doors could have put in those bottles

The front desk attendant was friendly, the room was really musty smelling and the overall conditions of the place was really rundown. Stairwells desperately in need of a coat of paint, looks like handprints of people going up and down the stairs all over the place. Boiled eggs in package 3 days from expiration and tasted like it, horrible breakfast with little to no options. I would avoid staying there again like the plague.

Very clean and comfortable. Near Wisconsin point for quiet time enjoying Lake Superior and over the bridge to Duluth. Best of two worlds. Have stayed there for the past few years.

It was right off the main road , the only thing is if you miss your driveway in to the parking lot and happen to use the gas station driveway you had to go out to the main road and turn around to get back to the right driveway.
