We were looking for a budget hotel in the Destin area for a quick weekend getaway. We found this property on Travelocity for a good deal. We were impressed with the Tripadvisor reviews so thought we should give it a try. This hotel is in the Sandestin area and is not beach front. There are some public beaches about 1 mile away. During peak season, there is a regular shuttle that takes guests and bring them back to the hotel. More importantly for some, it is across the street from the outlet malls and plenty of restaurants. Since we were going budget, we didn’t mind not being on the beach. If that is important to you, this is probably not your best option. The hotel property is neat and clean. The common area is welcoming. They have cookies on the check-in counter if you want a quick snack. The breakfast was fine. The food was not wonderful but typical hotel food (pastries, yogurt, cereal, eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, waffle iron). When traveling on a budget, it is nice to have a meal covered. We did not check out the pool. The exercise area looked well-equipped. The room was fine. It was clean which is our main priority. There was a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. I appreciated the free wireless. The TV is a nice flat screen. Bathroom has plenty of room. We had no problems with the room. More water pressure in the shower would have been nice. Overall, this is a great budget option if you don’t mind being away from the beach.

The place was very clean. The price was right, everything was new, the breakfast was wonderful and very good. The young lady that was taking care of use was awesome. Thank you. Hopefully we will we see you next year.

This hotel is in a transition to Holiday inn express. I booked Evoke as a 3 day rest break during our road trip. We were informed 3 weeks before our stay that the hotel would be IHG owned. Being an IHG member I wasn't concerned. Sadly it didn't live up to the standard I'm used to. The room was a good size and bed very comfortable. No facilities to make coffee. The hard floors make for a noisy stay. Breakfast was a let down, very little staff and replenishment was slow. No pool furniture so not really able to relax pool side. Pool appeared to be used by persons not staying at the hotel. Overall not a great experience.

Hotel room was very clean and modern. Only ice machine was on ground floor but no issue. Many restaurants surrounding it so easy for food and drinks. Breakfast isn’t much but was included so can’t complain. Its also only a 15 to 20 minute walk to the white sandy beaches of Sandestin

Modern decor - loved the look of the hotel and very clean. Very comfortable beds, great shower, great placement of hooks, place to plug in phones, and mirrors. Very friendly front desk staff. Received books on local activities and restaurants. Had issue getting tv remote to work and front desk staff came up to room to make sure it worked. Only issue was they didn’t tell us no housekeeping service and garbage cans were small so emptied own garbage. Also the breakfast was not much at all - yogurt, mini muffins, 1 kind of cereal with raisins, and individually wrapped apples. So if breakfast is important I wouldn’t book here or plan on going out. There is a Dunkin Donuts right next to hotel. As far as I can see if they had a hot breakfast it would be excellent.

Mmm... no hot water. The facility was nice but not up to the standards IHG set. Also the breakfast was very minimal..Cereal, yogurt, fruit.. no hot food. Once things are taken care of it will be fine.

Was a little concerned from older reviews but after we arrived was very pleasantly surprised. Room was very clean and staff were very accommodating! Would stay there again and would recommend. Close drive to the beach.

Hotel did not offer breakfast as advertised,so it's overpriced!Also,asked for extra tiles amd the lady at the front desk said 'bring us the dirty tiles'..thats the housekeepers job..unprofessional,never again

我选择这家连锁酒店是因为我真的很喜欢它，但结果却不如预期。主要问题出在前台接待我们的那位女士，她几乎什么都没解释，只是简单地告知了我们在新冠疫情“新常态”下酒店的强制性规定。没有人告诉我们酒店不提供早餐，只有一袋水、一根能量棒和一份水果，每个人都可以自行决定是否接受。入住时没有人解释这一点，也没有任何告示说明除非主动到前台要求，否则酒店不会提供客房清洁服务。结果就是，每次从海滩回来，发现没有干净的毛巾、肥皂、洗发水等等，垃圾也还堆在那里，真是令人沮丧。我非常失望，因为我对这家连锁酒店一直都很满意。房间里有好几处灰尘，但我习惯随身携带湿巾，在使用前彻底清洁所有物品。我们向前台要了条毛巾去泳池，他们说除非我们先用房间里的毛巾，否则不能给我们。可我纳闷，如果根本没人去我房间，怎么可能有毛巾呢？很多人都跟我们一样抱怨毛巾和肥皂不够用，真是难以置信。Wi-Fi也连不上，电话也打不通。我的建议是，请务必告知所有入住的客人新的规定，并张贴告示，让大家都知道。此外，你们应该要求所有人佩戴口罩，因为70%的人都没戴，而且很随意地走来走去。就连我们看到的客房服务人员也没戴，卫生状况如何？我本来想写一篇像往常一样的详细评论，但实在写不出来。
房间很脏，床头灯也亮着，床上满是沙子和污垢，床单太破了，你可以看到床垫，床单上也没有床垫，大堂、卫生间一团糟。我被告知总经理会打电话给我，但什么也没发生，请做正确的事，住在任何地方，但不要住在这里！
