Older place, lots of sign of wear and tear in room. Chair at desk had weird stain on seat, couch was dingy and dirty, too. Hair on walls in bathroom, all over bathtub and sink, too. Applebees right next door which was pretty convenient after checking in late in the evening. Ruth at check in was very sweet and joyful! Cannot comment on breakfast, pool or fitness areas as I did it use them.
Definitely needs some upgrading before I’d go back.

While we are planning some updates, we are still only in the early planning stages of it.I've already printed your review to go over with management and hopefully spare anyone else the same experience. Maybe one day, after we complete the updates, you will consider giving us another try.

Incredibly spotless rooms with a great breakfast and a hardworking staff.
The hotel looks recently refurbished and the common areas are immaculate.
Small but nice gym and an outdoor pool.

Hotel is ok. Carpet looks dirty and stained. Beds are comfortable. No housekeeping daily. A 4 night trip only had housekeeping once. Towels are not replaced daily but on request. Breakfast is good but boring. It filled me up though. Coffee is hot and quite good.
Location was great for going to Publix stadium. Good restaurants are fairly close. It’s a pricey hotel for the lack of services and amenities.
This was my second time staying there but I will find another hotel next time.

Exit doors were not secured. When I notified Rodney on 2/25/25 he showed NO CONCERN. we checked out a day early and he didn't ask why or even care that we were checking out early

Nearly two months later, my memory fails me on the finer details, but I did locate a log note confirming that we were aware of an external door lock maintenance issue before you notified us. I can only guess that the lack of inquiry at your leaving was due to understanding your discomfort with the then current security issue.I am sorry you could not enjoy your stay with us.

Good stay
Not exactly the ideal reception when we arrived around 11am- well...the rooms aren't ready and check in is at 3pm. This does not seem to be the ideal response to a new hotel guest (travelling with two kids) asking about a reservation. I understood that maybe other people have been asking for early check in and I wasn't the only one- no harm. She seemed to brighten a bit when I solved my own problem and asked for space to change and wash our hands in the meantime. There was obviously a 1pm spring training game with many people staying there for that reason, I have to assume that the hotel has experience working with Detroit Tiger fans catching games so the interaction was a bit surprising at first given the Tiger gear we were wearing.
Our room was on the third floor next to the stairs- good location logistically, but if the hotel were full, it would likely be noisy. breakfast was average but no dark coffee refill one day and the next it wasn't put out at all. Food was ok and the woman attendant seemed to work hard to keep things clean.
Can't go with a great stay, but it was a good one in comparison to other Hampton Inn locations. Thank you-

This is her first Spring Training with us, and it sounds like she must have been a bit flustered processing a check-in at the time when check-out is required. I am sorry we did not prepare her better for this scenario. Typically, the noisiness of any of the rooms is dependent on fellow guests rather than the location of the room, as supported by your conditional "if." We were actually sold out and/or fairly full for the duration of your stay. I am glad to read that this concern did not play out.Unfortunately, you caught us whiffing the ball of inventory and we ran out of dark roast until Monday's monthly delivery.Thank you for not counting us out with all the strikes we had during your stay.

Friendly staff
Staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was an average hotel breakfast but everything was so clean and maintained. Plus the early morning staff was so nice. Good coffee and they made of fresh even in the afternoon. We only stayed one night but would definitely consider for an multi night stay. It is a very pet friendly place.
