My 11 year old daughter and I had a Mommy/Daughter overnight trip to Yuma and decided to spend the night at this hotel based on other people’s reviews.
The check in was great and I forgot the gentleman’s name that checked us in but he was so nice and charismatic.
In the evening my daughter and I went swimming and luckily we had grabbed our own pool towels before going to the pool because there weren’t any pool towels down there… When I went inside to ask for some I couldn’t find anybody who worked there around anywhere.
Then we used the pool again in the morning after breakfast and there were still no towels out in the pool area in the towel bin.
At the breakfast buffet that everyone had raved about, they had no creamer for the coffee, they were pretty much out of the dark roast so they only had decaf and then didn’t have much food set out for the buffet. My daughter and I love the buffets at hotels and we were so disappointed in this “buffet”.
Yes I understand it was a Friday morning which is a weekday and there were not that many people in the hotel but still the people that were there paid for their nights stay and could have had a little more breakfast and at least coffee.
Then when we went to check out, we tried carrying all of our stuff in 1 trip cause the front desk staff was using the luggage cart for their kitchen supplies and looked annoyed when I asked to use the guest cart.
The front desk lady rolled her eyes when I asked to check out.
We wont be here again.

Guest services was outside smoking when I drove up to check in, seemed put out that she has to tend to business. Room was about as close to the highway as you could get. Bathroom looked a little warn. I met Bill Marriott during two grand openings. Not sure it would meet his standards.

Great customer service very helpful about change in plans due to flight cancellation. Sent maintenance man to pick me up from airport because service didn’t run that day.

The stay was average. I expect more from a Marriott property. The breakfast choices were limited and not enough choices for family’s with small children.
