Checked into my reserved room on the second floor and was informed that the elevator was not functioning and would have to climb the steps. (I'm 83 years old) Opened the door to the room and found it already occupied. The very helpful Housekeeper found me another room. I unpacked and was heading to dinner when I noticed water on the bathroom floor coming from a leak under the sink. I informed the front desk and given a key card to a third room. The helpful house keeper was close by and offered to move my belongings since I was heading to dinner. Arriving back from dinner I headed to my third room only to find my belongings were not in the room. Back down to the front desk I was told the A/C was malfunctioning in that room and now was given a key to a fourth room which was satisfactory. Given the circumstances and the fact that I paid a premium for the rooms (I booked 2 one for my nephew) $998.38 for two Nites. I believe some type of compensation is in order. .

I liked the place for it's location, comfortable rooms, cleanliness. Mostly the people working there. All were friendly and they made our stay perfect.
Only thing that wasn't perfect was the elevator not working. Although I made reservations 5 months ago, I had to use a room on the second floor. My friend that traveled witb me is 83 with health issues had to use the stairs. The elevator apparently has been broken a long time. It was broke when I stayed there 6 months ago. ...next time I come I will make sure to specify a ground level.

My husband and i enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and nice. There was an odor that we mentioned when we checked out. It smelled like sewer. We were told it came from a facility near by. We questioned that because we smelled it in the room and not out in the lobby or outside. I would definately check the drains ....

The facility manager was very friendly and helpful. One side exit door was unsecured - the latch was broken and the door could be opened by anyone at any time. I did report it to evening desk staff but nothing was done. The elevators were inoperative, undergoing maintenance during my stay. The room was somewhat dim, but very spacious and QUIET. The couch was very uncomfortable to sit, but the bed was quite good for sleep. The breakfast was good for free, and the serving staff was very polite and cheerful early in the morning. Overall, a good 4 star stay.

Everything was as expected at the property as far as staff and how they took care of our needs. We coudn't ask for better staff people. Only one thing that needs to be addressed and that is the elevator not working. It was not working back in April when I stayed here, it looks like either they don't want to spend the money to repair it or else they just don't care. I have no problems with walking up a flight of steps but, I know there are those with health issues, like my friend that traveled with me, Plus he is 82 years old. Being a retired guy who worked for 40 years in maintenance work, I know the elvator might be an expense to get fixed but, it still should be done. Other than that, we like the property and might came again next year as well. But I will ask for a ground floor room.

No Elevator. No Hope For Fixing It.
Elevator had been broken for the past year with no word on when it will be fixed. Hotel was clean and comfortable. We would stay again only if we could get a first floor room.

Hotel elevator has not worked in over a year. Had to carry luggage to 2nd floor! I am 75& had a stroke 2 1/2 years ago! I’m am fairly healthy but would have liked the elevator!

Elevator still not working for several months. First night heat stayed on couldn't turn the unit off no one answered the phone. Finally at 3:30 am went to front desk and showed them what I was dealing with. They offered to move me upstairs with no elevator. I wasn't going to move at 3:30 in the morning. Next day they moved me the room was cold but when you look up there was mold streaks throughout the whole ceiling. The exit door is busted so anyone can walk in at any time of the day or night. The breakfast was fine both days.

18sept2025 hotel is converting from Hampton to Larkspur and some amenities and decor were not working/incomplete but the staff is very sweet. Better personal service than major brands.
