I travel a lot for work and a one night stay at this charming guest house was a lovely change from the usual chain hotel stays. The bed was very comfy with good pillows and the little touches of home made biscuits, fresh milk, and a bowl of fruit were much appreciated. The cooked breakfast was excellent with good quality local ingredients and home made marmalade and very good toast!

Brunswick House is in a great location in Middleton in Teesdale. Everything was first class, the room was cozy and well equipped, the bed was comfortable. Andrew was a charming host and nothing was room much trouble. Everything you could need is catered for. From drying out wet boots to a warming bath. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The area is beautiful, there is lots to do. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic two night stay at this hotel,the host was a lovely friendly guy and the breakfast out of this world,homemade biscuits in the room and amazing ginger cake on the breakfast display absolutely love the place

What a little gem ! Could not fault this hotel at all. Beautifully presented bedroom, lounge and dining room. Well appointed bedroom with so many features that would put a large hotel to shame. The owner Andrew clearly loves what he does even bakes biscuits for the room. The Teesdale breakfast was amazing. So many choices for breakfast. Andrew even bakes cakes for you to have. During our stay we had Ginger bread and also Banana and Walnut loaf, what an absolute treat. It is evident to see why the hotel has one many accolades. Andrew, again, thank you!

Really lovely B and B - how a B and B should be! Small but beautifully decorated rooms with lots of nice welcoming touches.
Also great breakfast. Perfect place for a short holiday.

Lovely proper bed and breakfast, rooms comfortable with lovely touches, fresh fruit, small fridge stocked with still and sparkling water, good quality teas and coffee in the room. Breakfast outstanding, massive choice of continental and a superb Teesdale full English. Great location for discovering the area.

Lovely establishment. Room nice but compact. Highlight was the breakfast. In 20 years of walking from place to place and staying in different places every night, this was the best breakfast. Fresh fruit, cereals, cold meats, local cheeses, cooked options, pastries and two homemade cakes! All this and a great location for pubs and restaurants.
