Elevators not working, place smelled musty, beds were horrible, pillows were horrible, breakfast not served. Overall worst holiday inn ive ever stayed at.

Maintenance Maintenance Maintenance
This place needs Maintenance. Elevator was broken, so we had to use stairs. Then there is very luttle parking in front and none on one end of the building so most is at the other end and their door at that end had a broken key card reader so you couldn't come in there. The breakfast/lobby area had some kind of ceiling water damage all across the back of it so there was a wall of clear plastic hanging down. Hotel was reasonably clean but having to use the stairs caused me to notice they could have been better including either grime or buildup of some kind on the stainless steel door handles. I spent the extra $40 per night for 2 nights to stay here compared to the other option in Elgin only to find these issues. I never leave reviews on hotels but made an exception. The staff during our stay were fine. Just the maintenance issues.

Just okay
It was okay. The pool area was super dirty and the ac in the room was dripping water so there was a terrible smell, as the water was accumulating under the carpet as the water was dripping. Breakfast was okay, bread was hard as a rock.

Not great. Location was bleh, not much around. The shower floor was disgusting, definitely did not get in there. Very thin walls. No customer service.

Upon arrival deaf roach on floor in hall. Still there day of.departure. ice machine not working on 1st.floor. and the one elevator in building not working after our initial check in and we were located on 3rd floor....

Hotel is fine but check in is ridiculous
The hotel was fine however the check-in was horrible. When I arrived they said I needed to wait until 3 to check in, understandably if they didn’t have a room clean. I waited 3 hours and by that time there were 10 other people waiting to check in. Everyone was told they had to wait until 3. At 3:05 they started checking people in but the process was an hour long ordeal because they made everyone wait. The women at the front desk was not polite and everyone was pretty irritated with the way she was treating them
