Exceeded expectations
This was my first time staying at a Holiday Inn Express and it not o my net, but exceeded expectations. From the moment I entered the lobby, the facility was clean and smelled cleaned. The room was very clean and most of the staff was very friendly.

This is a good stay if you are looking for somewhere to stay near Florence area. Close to downtown and very close to retail stores and restaurants. The only downside about this is that the room we stayed in was not well ventilated and it was pretty muggy and humid in our room during our stay.

The rooms are spacious and I liked the quality of the covers on the bed. The free breakfast had many options and there's a fresh ground coffee machine in the lobby you can use anytime. The cleaning staff was very kind and gave me a bar of soap to use because I didn't want to use the dispensers. It's in a location with a lot of chains, close to a WalMart, not super picturesque but convenient.

Need a better bathroom
I would not use this property again unless I knew its bathrooms had been updated. The one in our room was a relic from the past. The room was clean and mostly updated. The breakfast was okay, but the dining area is small. The lobby area was being upgraded. Not the best experience
