Ok stay at the holiday inn south
The cleanliness was ok. Could have been cleaner. They need to shampoo carpets and stool in the room was all stained. Need to upgrade towels they were all dingy.

The towels were terrible, worn out seemed like they had seen better days! Seemed to be torn in half! The carpet around the hotel was very worn and wrinkly! Needed replaced!

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly.
The mattresses could stand to be changed out. Ours was rock hard. The ice machine on the second floor didn't work so I had to keep going to the first floor to get ice.

The swimming pool was not ready to be opened. Carpets need work. Details in the rooms need work..such as deep cleaning in rooms, light switch wasnt working, curtains and blinds were messed up, towels-washcloths and bedding need replaced, ice machine broken.

Not clean or friendly.
This was by far a very sad and tragic experience. It began with no one at the front check in area. When the man came out he was very curt and not welcoming like my presence was not wanted for interrupting his break or something. We went up to our hotel room and the curtains were falling off (we fixed them), and the toilet wasn’t clean as if someone just had a massive streaky bowel movement in the toilet.
We were given two towels in the room and when I went down to ask for more they said that it wasn’t possible to give me more and gave me 3 small pool towels. I was in the elevator and cleaned up a spill so no one would slip so that used one of the towels. When I asked for another from one of the housekeepers they told me that because I was already given 3 towels downstairs that they couldn’t give me another. They gave me another after explaining the spill situation but very reluctantly.
The only friendly staff that they had was a woman in the breakfast area that has been there for over 11 years. She was extremely helpful and nice…keep her, make her the manager, and please fire the rest!!
