The room you were checked into was off market because of a issue with the door locks and the guest that was in that room was moved to another room. A computer error resulted in the room being listed as clean and vacant and you were checked into that room. We are so sorry that this happened to you! I have now implemented a plan that all rooms are to be checked every day before a guest checks in regardless if they are listed as vacant and clean in our system. Once again please accept our deepest regrets that this happened to you from all the employees at Best Western McKenzie

酒店回复: Thank you for your review of our property. We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. It is true our property is older but we have made improvements at our property in the last several years such as remolding our breakfast area, new furniture and lamps for our rooms. Our future planned improvements are; interior and exterior painting and 50 inch TVs for all rooms. Because of the increased cost of operating a business we have tried to minimize raising our room rates for our guests while also trying to make improvements and updates to our property. We would like to thank you for staying with us.

Fine with everything except the breakfast.
The room was fine, the folks at check-in were just fine. However, we had an event to attend and were intending to eat breakfast at 6:00 a.m., as the hotel advertized, but the breakfast was not ready. I will say that the lady at the front desk had herself a big plate of scrambled eggs, but the food for guests was not available. We ate breakfast at McDonalds.

I understand it must have been very disappointing not to be able to have a hot plate of food to take with you. I always have to go items available such as the muffins, danish and fruit for those who are unable to stay for the hot breakfast. As to the big heaping plate of cold scrambled eggs on the table, that was left overs that I try to save for the neighborhood feral cats. After preparing eggs 6 days a week, I honestly cant stand the smell or taste of them! Once again I would like to apologize for my tardiness. Thank you for staying with us and we wish safe travels!

It was quiet for the most part. There was a guy mowing the grass at 6 am on a Sunday morning. What I didn't care for was they advertise pet friendly but it's more like pet tolerant. They give you a little goodie bag for your pet but it comes with a long list of rules.Some just seemed ridiculous. If you don't want pets then don't advertise pet friendly or designate certain rooms. It was just went beyond the normal or average expectations of traveling with a pet. Plus the place itself was a little out of the way

Outside appears run down.Rooms were upgraded recently, but the problem is.There was hair in our bath.Tub and the bathroom did not appear to be cleaned very well.

Staff was very friendly and accommodated our need for a ground floor room. Room was very clean. Oh, my only complaint was that the refrigerator needed to be defrosted. Nice selection of foods for breakfast.
