washrooms are moldy and does not have an exhaust fan system (door doesnt lock either).
I think quality in can do much better than this.

- Staff was accommodating and arranged for our group to stay in adjacent rooms

CONS
- Serious safety issue with the bed: There was a large, pointed metal piece sticking out from the box spring, hidden by the bed skirt. I hit my leg on it, and it could have seriously injured my son. When we told staff at check-out, the front desk clerk immediately knew what I was referring to and said, “Oh, the metal from the box spring, right? Haha, yeah yeah, our maintenance is already aware of that.” She didn't apologize or seem concerned, which was disappointing. If they’re aware of the issue, guests should definitely be warned before entering or the problem should be fixed.
- Unpleasant room odor: My friend's room smelled like fish after turning on the heater (Room 258)
- Lack of privacy in some rooms: Certain rooms face the hotel’s indoor dining area. If you're assigned one of these, be prepared to keep your curtains closed at all times unless you're comfortable with people being able to see into your room.

Indoor pool was in poor condition - water very cold - unheated. Hallway to pool ALL vinyl flooring loose and bubbled. Rooms were ok. Shower walls loose plastic panels - dated but clean. Breakfast the usual for a budget hotel. Grounds unsightly - worn concrete paths and weeds.

The hotel is easy to find and is close to main street Midland and not far from Penetanguishene. It was very clean and comfortable.

Rushed out of our room by housekeeping knocking multiple times for 2 hours until check out time. Cleaning doors while we are still there and waiting in the hall for us to leave

Staff was great, room comfortable, everything we needed. However, the smell of pot in hallways was very prevalent and not nice. We will consider this on next visit.
