I didn't hang around very much, as I was on a teaching assignment, but the hotel was a comfortable and clean place to stay overnight.

I was very disappointed in the beginning. I pulled up our front and sat there for about five or 10 minutes watching these four people out there one was very active. I think it was in his red truck. He was going back-and-forth and then there was a couple there anyway long story short I finally went in and I’m waiting at the desk and I’m calling for help and I’m calling on the phone and nobody’s coming. I wait 11 minutes and I walked outside to the door And ask does anybody know where the person is at works here and the guy says I am I work here why anyway I wasn’t a very happy camper then he went in and got behind the desk and he was not very pleasant and all he said we’re gonna help you with. I said I’d like to check in and I give him my ID in my card, but he wasn’t very pleasant and I didn’t appreciate him, making me wait when he was outside waiting discussing other things with other people while I’m in there waiting to get checked in she never happened to me before and I hope it never does again that wasn’t a very pleasant experience he wasn’t very pleasant. Either he said he had to take care of what he had to take care of outside and his truck. He had to go back-and-forth to do whatever it was get whatever it was he needed, but he was outside for like a good 25 minutes at least

Nice place! Recent renovation? Staff very friendly, made check-in/out a breeze. Unfortunately I had to leave before breakfast was served.

Drive past this and go stay in Easton, as it is the only hotel in Denton and it shows. The staff was laughing and talking noisily in the hallways, idk what they were doing but it wasn’t cleaning because the room was kinda gross. Stains on the couches and covers. Window shades didn’t close enough to keep the room dark. The bed was horrible, lumpy yet hard in the worst way - I should send them chiropractor bill. Breakfast was a joke, stale bagels and toast, coffee that blurted out of those endemic sludge machines. I tossed it all and left. When I mentioned the horrible mattress to the desk clerk, he replied “yeah, we hear that a lot”. It has been quite a while since I have had a hotel experience this poor. Would have given zero stars if ********** allowed. Avoid at all costs.

The room was clean although the bed spread looked old. The mattress was adequate.
There was a large patch of missing nap on the carpet outside our room door in the hallway.

Hidden Gem
We had a surprisingly great stay at this property. It’s truly a hidden gem. The staff, especially the management, made sure our stay was a valued experience.

Nice place
Checked in late at night, check in was perfect. The guy at counter was very friendly and quick. Lobby was very clean and nicely up kept. The room was nice size and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Only downside about the stay for me was the breakfast, the hot foods were just ok. We didn’t go in, but the pool looked like a nice size. The grounds around hotel were nicely keep also. I would definitely stay here again
