The hotel is nice and in a convenient location. We called in advance of making reservations to ensure that the parking lot could accommodate a truck with a trailer, and they said yes that they had RV and trailer parking. We were intown for a car show. The parking lot is very busy, and it was not easy parking a truck and trailer. We made reservations 2 months in advance for an upper room with a river view, however, when we arrived, they had us booked into a lower-level room with a view of the parking lot. They did adjust our bill appropriately; however, it was disappointing that we didn't have the river view on our stay. The hotel and restaurant are nice, and the room was comfortable. The staff was pleasant. Someone at the hotel had left a message on the room lan line but there were no instructions on how to pick up the message on the phone. We called the front desk, and they didn't know either. After our second call to the front desk, they called a supervisor to get instructions. They either need to put instructions in the rooms or leave messages on the guests' cell phone.

I have communicated with our newest staff that we do not have this accommodation. It might be available in our off-season when the hotel is not full, but certainly not all of the time. We do not encourage it and it is easiest for guests to park near the McDonalds on the main street, and not in our hotel lot. Please accept our apologies.

Loved the facility. Great views. Only negative was they were very slow in seating us for breakfast. But wait person herself was awesome.
