We only stayed for one night as we were on route to Cornwall, the staff were very friendly, lovely and welcoming. We had the Sunday roast and the Gammon was amazing we had to speak to the chef to let him know! The hotel is situated in beautiful calming surroundings and wish we had more time here! The room was spotless and looked like the bathroom had been refurbished and had everything we needed. Breakfast also was plentiful and more than enough choices and good quality. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Big thank you to everyone

Staff were lovely. Hotel really needs modernising and updating. The carpets were disgusting in the corridors. Upholstery needs cleaning. Shame as the location and the building itself is very good. Could be wonderful. Drive needs replacing.

The private road from the road to the hotel is in very poor condition, even in 1st gear I worried that my suspension would be damaged!!!!!!

The property was in a lovely quiet location with a wonderful view but this meant you had quite a distance of single track narrow roads to get to it. It was very warm when we stayed and unfortunately the menu in the restaurant was limited to quite heavy more wintery food and after we got served our food we didn’t see any staff so had we wanted a dessert or more drinks it would have been a problem.

我们的高级特大床房宽敞、非常干净舒适。浴室也很大，有大浴缸和独立的淋浴间。床很舒服，房间景色也很棒。员工都很有礼貌，友善且乐于助人。我们从A38公路开车去酒店，小路很窄（德文郡和康沃尔郡的很多小路都这样），但穿过海尔登森林的风景很美。我们开车从另一条路穿过艾德村上了A30公路，那条路就宽敞一些了！肯定会再来入住的。
我带着狗狗入住洛德·霍尔登乡村酒店，感觉非常棒，酒店周围有很多绝佳的散步路线。
前台和酒吧的工作人员都非常友好热情。
我一定会再次入住。
