Spent a few days either side of new year at the fabulous Oaklands. This was our third visit to the hotel in as many years and it never disappoints. The very high standards are maintained and once again a most amazing evening was enjoyed to welcome in 2026. A well stocked bar, very comfortable rooms, a pleasant lounge area and superb food are now taken as the norm. With key staff members present year after year, it has a very 'home from home' atmosphere sadly missing in other premier hotels. Our thanks to Barry the Manager and all the staff for making our New Year such a great experience.

12 months on and we all met up again at the Oaklands for NYE. Even better than 2024. Well done to the GM, Barry Flint and his Team for a truly memorable event. ................may see you next year !!

Came for a work lunch, A beautiful roast, attentive service from the staff. We all left very satisfied with everything. The grounds are gorgeous, clean, plenty of parking. Would 100% return. Thanks Oaklands Team.

my husband and I had sunday lunch at the comfy Duck today, the meal was lovely. the staff efficient and friendly; we were not overcharged, it was very good value. We hope to return again.

Lovely location with nice gardens and olde worlde feel . But the rooms are quite modern being equipped with most mod cons , like kettles , tea and coffee, soaps etc. The staff are pleasant and helpful and this occasion went out of their way to assist. The breakfast was not a buffet so it tasted much nicer being freshly cooked

We were given a very warm welcome upon our arrival. The staff were helpful and attentive throughout our stay. We stayed in a queen room that benefited from high ceilings, plenty of space, and a balcony overlooking the surrounding greenary. There is ample parking and an onsite restaurant. The hotel is located near the main dual-carriageway making it an ideal location for the surrounding area.

I attended my son's wedding on August 2nd and what an amazing experience it was, the wedding team did an amazing job in every aspect, the ceremony was excellent, the room decor was excellent, the food choices and quality was excellent. All the staff that covered the wedding are a credit to the Oaklands, all very professional and attentive a great team that went above and beyond to make the wedding a memorable day for us all. Thank you so very much for making the day for my son and daughter in law such a special day.

The hotel is located at the side of an A road , but you would never know given the long country house drive through a field to get to the hotel , which has some nice views across the local country side . Our staff experiences were a mixed bag , on the phone seemed offish and difficult to work with and get sensible answers . At the hotel they were very pleasant. Our room was nicely equipped having most mod cons , although the shower took an age to heat up. The rooms are a bit dated , but that adds to the charm. Breakfast was very pleasant and you could have a full English or a variation of that all equally tasty , plus some pastries if you were still hungry

Great value stay in impressive mansion house, delicious dinner, staff very friendly and welcoming, super breakfast help yourself cereal, teas, coffee, fruit juices, dried fruits, tosst..nice bread and jams, then cooked choices of fry up or eggs benedict for example, will be going back!
酒店需要维修：破旧的门早就应该换成更好的了（门没有把手，不是用钥匙开，而是用磁卡）。家具非常破旧。有股潮湿的味道。地板很脏。房间里有过期的糖。餐厅的菜品和餐桌布置都像个食堂。我绝对不推荐在这家酒店住一晚。
