We were sorely disappointed. We would not have paid even half the rate had we know what we were getting for a room. The floors were not swept clean, gouges, stains and cracks in the floors, walls, and furniture. The tub in the bathroom had enamel chipped off everywhere and the faucet didn’t work properly. Couldn’t even have a shower. The linens were clean, but even the mirror and sink area hadn’t been cleaned well. Smoke smells drifted in through I’m not sure what. The lights flickered or didn’t work, luckily the lamp did. It was late and we have young children so we didn’t have the option to look for something else. For the price point when we booked online it did not match any of the other hotels we usually stay at for the same price point downtown Vancouver. Disappointed.

One of the worst hotel rooms we have stayed at. Looked like there had been a flood, and knife fight in the room- looked like blood stains on the lampshade. Stained bedskirt, ottomans, carpet and tubs.

Old furniture, some broken. Dirty stained chair room not dusted and bathroom sink dirty. Two queen beds one very lumpy and the other very hard. Rubber baseboards peeled away from walls in several places.

Central to everything I needed. Right beside the freeway was good. Excellent restaurant on site plus other dining choices close at hand. Elevator would be ideal. Parking was at a premium. Service was good.

This hotel is terrible, do not stay here. I regret booking this hotel, and only did so, cause the others in the area were sold out. Don't make my mistake. Our stay started before we even got to the hotel, the front desk called us at 4:52pm stating that they had oversold our two queen room, wanting us to move to a one queen room. We agreed, and said we would be to the hotel with in the next hour. Upon arriving, we checked in and headed to find our room (no indication was given by the desk as to where it was). The smell outside near our room was like sour, rotted milk. It didn't change or disapate, it was there for the whole stay. Getting into the room, it looked like staff had thrown the room together in a rush. None of the furniture was properly in place, all were 2 inches away from the walls, none of it matched, it looked like they furnished the room from a thrift store. The couch was thread bare, the dresser had water stains, the headboard had chunks missing. There was a hole in the bathroom door, as if someone had kicked it in. The glasd shelf under the mirror in the bathroom area was broken, the shower had dried paint splatters all over it. There was a stove, it was missing elements and knobs. There were misc plates, cutlery in the cupboards and drawers, none looked clean. There was a microwave, but no coffee machine or coffee. There were ants through out the room, mainly by the table/desk and dresser. The bed sheets were not clean; there was yellow crusty stains, hair, dirt on the sheets. We did not sleep in the bed, we slept on top of it. The smoke alarm was the dirtiest I have seen, as if housekeeping purposely avoided cleaning it, and went out of their way to smear dirt on it. We also checked out a day early due to unforseen circumstances, had to head back to Alberta early, we checked out with the front desk before 11am, and they still charged me for that night's stay. Having worked in hotels for 10 years, this is NOT standard practise. The staff tried telling me they need 24hrs notice to cancel a night's stay, which is what their policies online say for PRIOR to check in. Nothing about a 24hr cancellation notice after you have checked in. If you check out prior to check out time, giving the hotel time to clean and re-sell that room, you should NOT be charged for that night. Currently waiting for the GM to contact me.

This hotel is in such bad need of a Reno I think it would be better if it was torn down and rebuilt. The neighbour hood is not great and the hotel fits in perfectly with it. The pictures the show on the booking site don’t match the hotel at all. Our room had actual pieces missing from the flooring the bathroom was ugly very dirty and the tub had a huge foot print imbedded into it somehow The beds where like sleeping on a slab of pavement Outside the room the smell of urine was terrible and they have no lights to show the room numbers so you had to get out of your car and walk along looking at the room numbers. We were on the ground floor and the people above us sounded like a gym team doing tumbling practice above us even at 1am. There was no coffee maker in the room of any kind and the very unfriendly lady desk clerk never said anything about coffee available in the lobby Just all around bad experience. Will never book again. This is the second really bad experience we have had with a unit we have booked through *********** they need to update there website pictures and info It’s disgusting that people get drawn in by nice pictures and pay ahead and then can not get any satisfaction from either the hotel or ***********

The room needed a better clean, there were what appeared to be strips of broken window panes outside my door, the lampshade in the room had holes in it, they had a perfume contraption plugged into an outlet perfuming the room, the safey lock on the door was broken, and they quoted my room as being 129.00 on the phone and then added a room charge of 20.64, in addition to the taxes. I would not recommend staying here.
