The room was clean, the staff was so friendly and helpful, I loved the fact that they text you to check on your needs or complaints and they were very quick to respond or bring anything we needed. Breakfast was even good and well stocked.

I was told my room would be serviced daily. I asked so I could adjust. My room was only serviced once. Twice I had to ask for clean towels and paper products which had run out.

Front desk uncooperative on two occasions. We had requested the room be made up early afternoon of the second day, and clean towels provided. Didn't happen. We had to go down to the front desk to get the clean linen. No one was at the front desk when we tried to check out; just a note saying "we had to step away and will be right back." After 15 minutes, still absent. We've never before stayed at a Hampton Inn where customer service was so faulty. Will not be back.

They did not have my reservation even though I presented the charge on my online banking. I would like a refund and the room I got was twice what my booked room was. So I’m not happy !

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. First time was slightly better. Check in went fine, staff was very nice, room was clean. However the heater/ac unit didn’t work properly. Walked into the room which was 75 degrees-very, very warm, which is understandable because Rochester seems to be cold almost all year (lol), but too warm for us Long Islanders. We attempted to cool the room down by lowering the unit, but it wouldn’t work at all, though the unit did make a lot of noise as if it was turning a compressor on and off - it actually didn’t work correctly until about 4 in the morning. The beds were also so firm it felt like sleeping on an ironing board and very noisy all around us. You could hear the people in the rooms next door and upstairs and even very clearly hear everything outside. We have to make one more trip to Rochester, but likely will not be staying at the Hampton Inn a third time - I must say despite my complaints, it is far superior to the Holiday Inn Express down the street from this hotel.

No hot water for 2 days, clogged sink and bath tub for 2 days, had to ask for clean towels over and over for a 5 day stay, and last night there a teen soccer team was screamin and slammin doors at 5am. Told front desk which was a waste of a dial. . Where is the 20% discount and have not. Not enough for this place.

3 days without maid service. Good food. The Lady at the check-in desk was very pleasant and cheerful. She gave me honest answers about the hotel and the available computer center, and work out facility. She was also nice enough to take some pictures for me. Her name tag Read KEYLA. She is to be commended for her over and beyond work ethics.
