The first night the room was not very clean. And the air conditioner leaked, so the whole floor was wet.

It was a convenient location for our Lakepoint tourney. Staff and hotel were good. Breakfast was delicious. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Only negative is the water in the pool at the time we were there needed some treatment so we didn't use it. Overall very happy with the property.

VERY DISAPPOINTING. A/C and fan unit did not work. Staff came to fix it and it worked for one hour then didn't work the rest of the weekend. Then the pool was getting "maintenanced" and wasn't open. The pool water was green and looked like it had been sitting awhile so not sure what was going on. The pool was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel since they're hard to come by. I'm sad to see this since I'm a rewards member. I won't be booking my next stay here. The hotel also has a roomservice menu in the room and advertises onsite food, but guess what? No room service :(

Our check-in experience at Holiday Inn Express Acworth - Kennesaw Northwest by IHG was not pleasant. The gentleman behind the front counter was very rude and unprofessional. The elevator did not work and he told me that I had to carry my luggage to the 3rd floor by upstairs. When I asked to speak to a manager he told me that there was no manager until Monday.

Family was there for a week for baseball with plans to use the pool daily- the pool was pond scum the whole week
