The only reason i took a star off was how long it took for the front desk to show up. Other than that, EVERYTHING was perfect to even the customer service

Not Baymont's fault but much road construction in progress and even getting to the property for the first time was confusing. I suggest that Orbitz and/or Baymont send a message to guests w/ reservations warning them of what to expect and directions to the hotel.

The bed was nice and the room pretty standard. The carpet was wet and it smelled of mildew. Construction around the area that could be congested when navigating

Well, the construction around the area made it difficult to access, but you have no control over that. My main comment is that the bed is too high for short people like me. This happens a lot nowadays. Everyone loves the thicker mattress, but maybe a shorter box spring. Really, the bed was nearly waist high and difficult to get in and out of. Maybe a stepstool? Otherwise things were great.

Stayed at this property on my way to Charlotte,NC and on my way home. It was a good halfway point. Lots of nearby restaurants. Hopefully one day they will change from carpet to luxury vinyl plank.

Wonderful staff. Clean beds. Property is older so wear and tear is evident but the price and location are too good to pass up!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Carpets were worn and ripped on 2nd floor hallway. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was basic but good.

Would stay again
Went to a ladies conference in the area and stayed overnight at the Baymont. My room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the towels nice and fluffy. The bed was really comfortable and I slept well, which is unusual for me, as I don't normally sleep well on my first night of travel. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast the next morning was also tasty and the staff friendly and courteous.
