Bed was very comfortable with the pillows just ok because they were thin. The one problem we had with our stay (room 224) was that the ceiling over our shower leaked when someone showered in the room directly above ours. Also, it was impossible not to get water all over the floor when showering even with the shower curtain firmly tucked inside the tub.

Overnight in Wilkesboro
Checking in was frustrating. I stood at front desk for over five minutes and no one came. I finally called the hotel from my cell and the ringing phone brought the desk clerk to the front. Room was fine and rest of stay was pleasant.

It appears to be an older property, but has been updated at some point in time. Room was small and the bathroom was very small. Breakfast was okay.

Felt very safe staying here. The guests next door were up very late talking, but that was not the fault of the staff.

The hotel was nic, clan and quiet with the exception of the water pipes. We were in a room next to the ice machine and whenever it would fill with water the pipes banged and clanged. It happened after flushing the toilet as well, so that wasa bit annoying. Overall it was a nice stay. I'll remember to ask for a room away from the ice machine and hopefully we wont be bothered by banging and clanging pipes.
