Front desk employees were pleasant & the lobby appeared OK. Unfortunately, to say this property is "disgusting" would be to offer an unintended compliment. Upon entering the room we immediately noticed 3 Wasps on the bed. We then noticed several more in the bathroom & even more on the ceiling & others dead on the floor. We also noted a slight smell that we then realized was most probably insect spray so we returned to the front desk to ask for another room. The front desk clerk apologized & directed a co-worker to go check our vacated room. Even though we did not find a Wasp infestation in the 2nd room, it was filthy. Would not even want to know what was smeared on the cabinet wall next to the toilet, or what formed the HUGE stain that ran down the wall facing the toilet. Most of the handles on the kitchen cabinets were covered in so much gunk that we would not touch them. Arms on the office chair were similarly covered in who-knows-what & we took paper towels & dish washing liquid to clean it off. Bedding looked acceptable, though it was SOOOOOOOOOOO wrinkled you could not actually determine the cleanliness & after seeing the dirt throughout the rest of the place you could only "hope" it was cleaner than the rest of the room. Carpet was similarly dirty & stained. This place does not remember that last time the rooms were FACTUALLY CLEANED. If this place actually has a Manager, they are obviously NOT doing their job. Shame on any owner(s) who would allow a place to reach this condition. Horrible experience.

The absolute dirtiest hotel I’ve ever seen. We walked in and immediately left and went to another hotel. Room was NOT clean. It appeared they just made the bed after the previous guests left. Dirty floors. Walls, door handles and light switch plates were dirty and sticky to the touch. Food splatter on the walls. Mold growing on side of fridge. Food crumbs on counter and floors. And a used QTip on the floor by the bed! Check out the pictures.

The property is just Ok. I've stayed at other Candle Suites and they have been nice, however this one was below average. We only had maid service 1 out of the 2 days we stayed there. One of the other things that annoyed me was that the front desk clerk took approximately 30 minutes to check us in we were the only guests checking in at the time and had prepaid reservations the time was about 7PM.

The floors were terrible, sticky and dirty. The shower looked iffy, so we decided to wait till we got home to take a shower. Bed was fine and it was clean. Everything else was ok. Glad we were only staying two nights. They charge as much as a hotel that offers breakfast, yet there is no continental breakfast.

I don’t typically leave hotel reviews, but I feel a responsibility to warn others after our experience at Candlewood Suites. We stayed here for two nights at the end of a family trip. The first part of the week we had been with relatives, but chose to get a hotel for the final nights so our hosts could have space to enjoy time with their adult children. We arrived at the hotel around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, already exhausted from a long, wonderful day with family. As we checked in, a friend who had arrived for the same family gathering was checking out—not even 30 minutes after arriving. She had already been moved twice due to the condition of her rooms and warned me to find another hotel. But given how late it was, and assuming surely not every room could be that bad, we decided to stay. Big mistake. The first suite we were given had not been vacuumed. The nightstand had sticky, stained surfaces from old spills. The toilet had hair on it, and there were beer bottle caps on the closet floor. Still, we were tired and trying to stay optimistic. But when we pulled back the sheets, what we saw on the bed was truly unacceptable and unhygienic. I won’t go into graphic detail, but it was vile. We called the front desk immediately. To their credit, they moved us to another room without hesitation. Unfortunately, the second room, while not as disturbing, still was not clean. The overall standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel was simply not acceptable. We made it through the stay, but I left feeling like I needed to scrub everything—myself included—when we got home. I will never stay at a Candlewood Suites again, especially not this location. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Dirty, carpets dated and grubby. Walls, Doors fixings aged and unclean. I needed a shower on leaving. The main reception is unclean with dated furniture. I know it’s a budget price but there is no excuse for lack of cleanliness.Never ever will I stay there again. Location has no decent food options..

I had to be moved to 3 different rooms tne first room had water all on the bathroom floor the second room was awful smelled like a cigarette factory with a smoke detector dangling from the ceiling and the hotel supposed to be 100% smoke free the 3rd room.was just ok and the water is not hot at all. I usually have no issues at a candlewood but this one aint it!!

The absolute most Horrible experience. At any Hotel!!!! Walked in and there was a horrible stench!!! The coffee pot was molded and I returned to front desk! Sheets didn’t look clean. The inside of the cabinet was molded, new roll of toiet paper was molded. The toilet had a bug in it!! Under the bed was full of dust and trash! I only wished I took more pictures!!!! They switched out our room and it was a little better but by far DID NOT meet my expectations! If it weren’t so late and my husband was hurting we would have moved hotels. All the hotels around were booked so we are stuck here another night
