It’s not clear who is writing the positive reviews about this place. This hotel is generally in dis-repair and not up to the Homewood and Hilton brand standards. My wife booked this hotel for me as we normally can count on everything being nice. And, we normally read the reviews in detail. Our mistake. Just avoid the place and go elsewhere if possible. I plan to drop a review to Hilton. I never ask to be compensated for poor performance in service situations, but this time I will be making an exception. It was half of what one would expect.

Fire hazard, poor maintenance. I stay in 30+ hotels a year. I will not stay in this hotel again. I found it they had fire doors held open to the stairways with magnets, which I believe is a fire code hazard. Before I went to bed, I found three fire doors on my floor wide open to the stairways. In speaking to another hotel in Ohio, they confirmed that this is against code, that if a fire strikes on one floor, the fire can move to other floors through the stairwell that is wide open and not closed by fire door. I came into my room and found that the cooling is handled by a floor unit air conditioner that vents through a window. This air conditioner was in the bedroom, and was intended to cool the entire suite, including the separate room., living room kitchen. The hotel was designed for a heating air conditioning unit that was built in and is not working. You can see by the pictures that the venting is not tightly done and lets in air from the outside. The front desk told me several rooms are like this, and I could see from the outside that there were several rooms which vented out like this. I can only believe that this was done to save money to not repair the original unit. Hotel has been renovated, but based on the tub in the room, it is an older motel .

I read a lot of other reviews and was honestly a little nervous about staying here. I couldnt find anything really wrong with the place other than its not brand new...its an older property. It was clean and everything worked like it should but yeah, the tile in the shower was a little scuffed....a few dings on the furniture. Hallways smelled a bit of food (which makes sense since you can cook in your suite). Nothing at all that was a big deal. Maybe we just got lucky and got a good room? Top floor in the corner was perfect. Pool is permanently out of order but I knew that going in so I wasnt expecting that amenity. I would give this place a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Didnt really see any of the bad stuff that many of the other reviews were commenting on.

We paid alot of money for a 2 bedroom suite with fireplace that NEVER worked. Remote for TV in one bedroom was not there. These were all reported to.manager. *Broken dresser drawers that wouldn't open. *Fold out couch bed was all springs. Had to use 4 blankets before putting a sheet on it to sleep on. *Fireplace never worked the entire 7 day week. Manager knew of this too. *No one showed up EVER for the entire 7 days to change our sheets or bring us clean towels. We had to go look for and find someone EVERY.SINGLE.DAY TO GET CLEAN TOWELS. *One of the showers never drained good, so we would have to stand in inches of water while showering. *Kitchen sink leaked on top at base when you turned it on, so we would have to put a towel there because it got the kitchen counter soaking wet. 6- Refrigerator/freezer not COLD enough. We had to throw all of our food away. Ice cream was very soft instead of frozen. 7-Bathroom sink in one bedroom had a broken drain. 8-Bathrom fan broken and it made a loud racquet when it was on. *Manager who came to our room about these issues only had the dresser replaced and bathroom fan replaced (days later). *Spent alot of time cleaning (the room was not clean...dirty q-tips and food along edge of wall an throughout room cobwebs/dust webs all in corners of walls) instead of enjoying vacation time. *Problems/issues were ignored except dresser replaced and bathroom fan replaced *Spoke to Hilton a few times over this (again, having to deal with this and spending time on these issues instead of enjoying our time) to be told to go through the manager there (which was pointless). Finally spoke to someone at Hilton Corporate after given the Hilton corporate number.... I was told that the manager there put in notes that the issues/problems were taken care of (that was 100% false). Manager lied to corporate about this. The room and week stay here was terrible! This was at 1410 Arrowhead Dr. Maumee, Ohio 2 Bedroom/Suite

Not up to par. The pool was the main reason I chose this location, only to find out it hasn't been open since pre covid. Ridiculous!! I expect more from Hilton and you should too. Just look at these pictures.

First I have to say you REALLY need. Light on your sign t dark. Drove by the entrance twice before finally getting it right. Second there were no sheets for the die a bed and very uncomfortable. Third the bed was very hard. Fourth the screens on the window were all ripped apart and the hallways were hot and smelled horrible.

Beware of the unsafe bathtub. The bathtubs have a high slant on the sides with and smooth sides. Huge fall hazard (personally experience). Never seen such a thing at a hotel. When addressed with the staff, they said all rooms have the tubs of doom and they get frequent complaints. Would not stay there again just for that reason. The sofa bed had no bedding in the room. Room didn’t seem particularly clean.

The room was beautiful, the staff at check-in was good... But this is what lowered the rating: 1. The sleep quality wasn't good at all- the AC unit was extremely loud, the pull out sofa was so uncomfortable I ended up folding it back and sleeping on the sofa. 2. The bath tub hadn't been properly cleaned- I pulled out 4 hairballs from the drain before the water could flow; enough hair to make a ball the size of a golf ball. 3. The staff at check-out was just ok- I pointed out the disgusting issue with the bath tub, and she did take notes to reprimand the cleaning crew; but offered me nothing more than a "sorry". Considering I spent 15 minutes pulling out gross clumps of hair from the drain, I would have expected at least a small discount- after all I did the cleaning work that should have been done before we checked into the room, for free. That doesn't seem fair. Bottom line is, I probably will not stay at this hotel again and neither recommend it to friends or family. Which is a pity because the room itself was large and nice, and the location is great.

room was perfectly fine. However, the hallways were incredibly warm and the elevator was the same. breakfast was good but some of the furniture in breakfast area is well past needing to be replaced. For the price though, this is good value and we would stay again.

Nice accommodations with good breakfast. I was disappointed the pool area was closed and the evening socials are only on Wednesday. Explanation was due to COVID but that ended last year so does not make sense.
