During periods of lower occupancy, we concentrate on essential preventative maintenance tasks, including carpet shampooing, tub recaulking, and deep cleaning, which are incompatible with accommodating early check-ins. This policy is clearly stated on our website. While the hotel may appear unoccupied, staff are actively engaged in maintaining our property standards. These tasks are particularly challenging during peak seasons and can only be effectively completed during slower periods. The spa being down is also posted on all websites. We are closing it permanently, which is also stated online. I am sorry if this upset you. We strive to make sure our hotel stays up to code for all guests.

I have been to many properties and paid hundreds of dollars, which I had to save up for months to afford, and then had to buy cleaning products to clean my own room. To me, that is ridiculous. For what my guests pay, I want to be sure they leave feeling like everything was clean and that they received outstanding service. I am happy you left feeling that way.

酒店回复: Providing comprehensive cleaning services can be challenging given our consistently full occupancy and limited housekeeping staff. We find it most effective to offer services based on guest requests, rather than fully cleaning all rooms daily, allowing us to better allocate resources. All you have to do is ask for the service, and it will be provided. If you do not want housekeepers in your room, then we ask you to contact the front desk to get the items you need.

酒店回复: We are very surprised by your comments. Upon inspection of your room following your departure, we regrettably discovered damage to the television box. We attempted to charge for the damage, but the payment was unsuccessful. Our housekeeping staff thoroughly cleans each room, and management inspects them afterward to ensure all items, including phones and TVs, are in working order. Prior to your arrival, the television was functioning, and the room was in excellent condition. However, upon our entry after your departure, we found the TV had been pulled from the wall, the television box detached and suspended by the HDMI cable, and the television was non-functional. While you mentioned the television malfunction during your stay, this was not reported to our staff. Furthermore, you stated you connected your phone to the TV via mirroring, which is not possible as this function is disabled. The damaged box required replacement, incurring a cost of $398.00. We have a system in place to accurately track damages to avoid charging guests for issues they did not cause. It is our understanding that no guest would remain in a hotel room without a functioning television, especially after paying hundreds of dollars. We would expect that any issue would have been reported to the front desk, allowing us to resolve the problem. This was not done during your stay, and you continue to state you used the innovative functions, which were disabled when the TVs were purchased in 2023. We never received reimbursement for the cost of the box, so nothing was taken from you, and communication about the situation was made with your mother several times. Yet, you continue to say you did not leave the TV like it was found and that you mirrored your phone to our TV, which again I will state is not at all possible. I am sorry that you feel the way you feel but nothing about what we do here at Holiday Inn Express is shady and rooms are cleaned, inspected and inspected again prior to you being placed inside of the room. We only ask that you be honest.
