We only stayed 1 night but the stay was great. The front desk girl (I didn’t get her name) was so nice and bubbly. She made the check in process easy and so comfortable. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Would definitely stay again next time we travel to Durango.

The room was clean but it was not properly supplied. There were 3 of us in the room but there was not enough towels and washcloths. There were only 2 regular coffees and 1 decaf. The hair dryer didn’t work. The lighting in the bathroom, especially in the shower, was way too dim. When the staff cleaned the room they didn’t empty the trash or leave anymore coffee. It was not explained to me that I needed to put one of the keys in the little box by the door to make the lights and heat work. When I called the front desk to ask for help I was told I must have not been listening when she was explaining how to do that. The remote for the TV didn’t work. They brought us a new one and it didn’t work either. When I called again she told me it wasn’t the hotel’s problem it was TV provider’s problem and they couldn’t do anything else to help us and if we wanted to watch the World Series we could go down to the bar. There was an ice machine but no vending machine. Not sure what I was supposed to put over the ice. We had a horrible experience and will never stay at a Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites again.

Even if you don't stay here (though I absolutely, 100% recommend that you do, this hotel is fantastic, from Jim's kind greeting at the front desk to the view out every window), you have got to pay a visit to the hotel restaurant and try one of Kim's cocktails/mocktails. Kim infuses and mixes her own syrups, and they are pure divinity.
The food is great too! And Kim - along with restaurant manager Charity - will make you feel so welcome.

This was our third stay at this property. Staff was friendly and helpful, price is more reasonable than closer-in downtown hotels. Will stay again.

There were bugs in the room and bathroom had a strange smell in it, service and staff were nice, but house keeping never came by our room. I don’t know if it was our timing of being in the room so that might have been my fault though.

The room was dirty, they did not clean the floors , nor the toilet and the frige had a smodge sticky pop that spilled on the floor by the bed so it was all sticky. There was bugs by the window and food crumbs in the sitting room. The hotel had a good remodel but it looks like the cleaning crew is not doing a good job.

The hotel is in good condition, and the location is excellent—right next to downtown and close to the train station, which is very convenient. I have two complaints, though: they charge a $10 parking fee, which is surprising since I’ve never had to pay for parking at any other Holiday Inn. Also, the hot water isn’t very hot, even when turned to the maximum temperature.

The hotel was nice and front desk was super helpful and friendly. The attached restaurant however, was not good at all. It took us about an hour and a half to get our food and when we did, it was cold or overcooked and also still cold. There was barely anyone else in there so it’s not like it was due to being busy.

Clean place.
The hotel is great, just lots of extra taxes that pile up, beware (parking, city, county, state, lodging, misc, breakfast, etc.). Also, in the past, the restaurant was great, but this time it was clearly understaffed. Our dinner order took over an hour to get. The staff was nice, just the restaurant needs more staff.
