The air conditioner was so noisy that it was impossible to sleep. I tried shutting it off but just made more noise.They were painting the rooms on our floor so the smell was bad. It is an old building and needs more than paint

I don't remember ever staying at a hotel with better service, and I travel at least 6 times a year. Everyone we encountered, from all of the front desk staff to the person in charge of housekeeping were so helpful and really friendly! The room was VERY nice, well lit, with great amenities. Only complaint was that the A/C was pretty loud. The breakfast was excellent (which is not always the case with "free" hotel breakfasts. Overall, if i have the need to return to Phoenix I would definitely stay again at the Red Lion.

I generally do not stay at Red Lion's. These days its more likely to be Boutique hotels or nice Airbnb homes. The point is I was not expecting much and stayed because other persons in my party selected the hotel.
The hotel was clean, the staff was nice, generally everyone was helpful, the room was both clean and spacious. If I had any negatives, it would be the use of the TV. The TV worked, but had an annoying remote with hard to get to menu. But it worked, was well sized and I just needed to channel surf. I was barely in the room anyway.
I would definitely consider staying here again. Great buy for the money.

Me and my family enjoyed our stay at the Red Lion. The staff was nice and friendly but Natalie was truly amazing thanks for making sure me and my family enjoyed our stay while in Arizona.

We do have an incidental fee of $20 that is released back to you in 3-10 business days after check-out. Incidental fees are a common expected expense when staying in hotels.
