Reservation was made for pay at the property mind you my wife and I get a room once a month never has any place taken money out of my account until I check in. This place did just that took the money from my account the morning of my stay I reserved a king suite they changed a $150 deposit. Then put us in a queen room that was the most uncomfortable bed and pillows not that pillows at any hotel are great but these where garbage I spoke to management they handled these issues by offering me a $25 discount. Never again

Room had mold covering the ceiling in the bathroom. Took a photo, showed front desk the photo and their only response was that the rooms will be renovated in October anyway. Very disappointing.

The Location is Better Than Expected
We've stayed at Homewood Suites before in previous years but not at this Beachwood location. So, we didn't know exactly what to expect. It was a great service as expected but the location was the surprise. It's close to a lor of restaurants and stores. It's like everything's you need is right there and a short 20 to 25 mins to Cleveland Clinic. Hoghly recommended for sure.

Stay was not great, but room was big. Internet did not work the whole time I was there (overnight stay for work - could not work). When going to bed, I pulled back the covers to find the sheets were wrinkled making me guess the cleanliness of them. Going in to the shower, it was not clean, soap residue and someone's bottle top was in the shower. I also found mold within the shower. With these findings I then had a look closer at the sink and that too was dirty. I did not sleep on the bed and instead opted for the couch (thank goodness the room had a couch), I did use one pillow but put my hood up to sleep on it. Did not sleep well, I also did not feel safe with how much noise was coming from the hallway, so I placed a chair in front of the door.
Breakfast was ok, they did a more Mexican style with lots of spices, that I did not like (but I'm not a big spice person) and seemed like the other stayer did not like them either.

My kids were happy and that's all that matters!!
It was just a getway with my kids to swim and be free since school starts back this week. Great time....My only complaint was that i should of had a sofa bed but instead had to chairs. You pay alot of money and expect whats being advertised. The guy at front desk said manager was gonna call Saturday and he would leave her a note to call but she never did. I made the best of it.
