Newly renovated, but just average workmanship. No better than a Comfort Inn. Disappointed in Fairfield by Marriot. Breakfast had a vast array of choices, but little things like no cups for juice, no napkins, and only dark roast coffee. Breakfast blend is light roast!

Unfortunately this Fairfield needs updated. The uncomfortable beds and musty odor are very off putting. On a high note there is a restaurant next door within walking distance.

NEVER AGAIN
Called to let hotel know we would arrive after 700 p.m. Arrived and once in the room it was cold. Went to change temperature . on thermostat and it had a dead battery. About a minute later a small amount of water from the bathroom sink went onto the floor. A washcloth was used to absorb the water but not only water but filth so bad the wash cloth was black. It was given to the front desk staff as a other room was requester. A new room was given and as that room was entered we began to settle in. The room had a smell of burnt lint. I removed the two screens from the split unit to find the filters totally clogged. After this many attempts were tried to turn the T.V. on. Again at the front desk and a new remote was received. This new remote did not work either. An attempt was tried on the room phone to the front desk. The phone was dead! Again at the front desk We were told all the phones in the hotel are dead! Isn't this a life safety requirement in a hotel? At this time, we were advised no other room is available and that's just the way it is??? Oh, by the way, that bathroom was not cleaned from someone who probably wasn't at their best! Feces all on the seat and even the shower had surprises which all was cleaned with house shampoo. What else could we do???

The pool was closed for one thing.
But the biggest issue was the ac unit leaked in the floor we woke up the first night to walk in a soaking wet floor quite nasty and everything that was sitting by the unit was wet
The manger brought a fan to the room to out on it. They didn’t fix anything or offer another room. We didn’t have a choice but to stay. We got up the next day with the floor wetter the it was. Very upset they didn’t offer to take anything off of our stay to try and fix anything
