My work partner and I had a great check-in experience with Kate; she made the process quick and easy. She made sure I was part of the rewards program and provided a thorough explanation of all the hotel amenities. We also asked for local restaurant suggestions, and Kate, along with another employee named Dee, offered some excellent tips. Kate was very polite throughout the entire check-in. I stayed in a spacious Studio Suite with a King Bed and a kitchen. The only drawback was that the room (216) smelled like smoke. (This is why I gave it a four out of five rating) I initially considered switching rooms but decided to stay because of my long day of travel. The hotel offers a complimentary mid-week evening social (Monday-Wednesday) that includes draft beer, wine, and a full meal. We enjoyed a roast beef and potato bar one night, and sloppy joes another. The breakfast was equally good, featuring eggs, breakfast meats, pastries, hot oatmeal, waffles, and fruit. Dee and Doretha deserve special thanks for keeping everything well-stocked and taking care of guests' needs! The area around the hotel was quiet, safe, and pleasant. Following check-in, we went across the street to the Bullpen Bar for dinner on one of the nights, a place Kate recommended. We tried the wings on the first visit, which were great, and the pizza for a subsequent dinner—both were excellent. Overall, this is a great hotel, and I highly recommend it.

The hotel guests are wonderful, but the front desk guy , Jeff, is a major problem. He drinks with the guests while working and is incredibly rude and a terrible liar who harasses multiple guests. The upper management refuses to take any action. The only positive aspect of the hotel is the Assistant GM, Angela, who is wonderful.

The room was clean when I arrived, however there was no housekeeping service until the day before I checked out. It was noisy in the halls. The bed was comfortable even though it was never made up until the last day

Beautiful property. Close to shopping. Room was big and roomy with a kitchen. Friendly employees. Wonderful continental breakfast. Three nights a week they have free wonderful appetizers for the guests.

My husband, our 1-year-old son, and I stayed for 7 nights. The room size was good for the price, but there were issues. On arrival, there was damage to the door, carpet, and mirror. The thermostat was hard to keep comfortable, especially during a heat wave.

Housekeeping was inconsistent. The first day no one came because our baby was napping, and by the time we went downstairs (after 3pm), housekeeping was gone. The front desk gave us towels and toilet paper without issue. One day, when staff doubled up, our room was fully serviced with fresh sheets — great! But other days were hit or miss: sometimes only trash was emptied, and I had to request towels and bed-making. The day before we left, the beds were barely made and no toilet paper was provided — thankfully I had packed extra.

The pool was closed for maintenance during the heat wave, which was disappointing as my son had never been in a pool. Staff did offer to let us in, but the water was cloudy. They did have free laundry, which I appreciated, but my first wash caused one or more machines to leak, so I had to report it to the front desk. Breakfast was standard hotel fare with decent hours, and they offered a social hour we didn’t attend.

Overall, friendly staff and fair price, but between maintenance issues, housekeeping inconsistency, and the pool closure, I’d likely stay elsewhere next time.

We will go back.

This was the second year in a row that we stayed here one week. It was great, the only reason I don't say excellent is this year the pool was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom, so we did not use it. That was a big disappointment for the kids.

Our family stayed at this property for almost two weeks. The property was clean and was taken care of. The hospitality crew were incredible and checked on us with whatever we needed. The breakfast items were available even when we were running late before Ms. Doretha closed. The taco happy hour in the afternoon was a hit for my kids. Anne had suggested more activities for the kids. Overall, I was happy with our stay and will definitely stay again!
