When we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed with great personal staff, always happy and greeting us, when we got to our room, the bed was VERY comfy, even the pillows, sometimes hard to find both being comfy and having the right amount of blankets on the bed 😊.
Breakfast, I would have to say I was blown away, the breakfast selection was the best we’ve had. Having kielbasa, waffles, tatters, eggs, also having the easy food on the go; muffins, yogurt and bagels. The next morning was just as amazing as the first morning to get breakfast.
We have stayed at many hotels and Air B&Bs for our Spartan races; no place we’ve stayed at had EVER welcomed the Spartan Racers like yall did!!! It was not just posted in one spot it was posted everywhere in the lobby, outside of elevators, and inside the elevators, between my husband the other Spartans and myself we appreciated it so much!!!!
The next time we make our next trip weather it is for a spartan run or to visit family we will be staying with yall… thank you for making our weekend perefect!

We had a lot of trouble checking in at 5 pm. We waited several minutes apparently some of the cleaning crew had not shown up and rooms were not ready. Then we were given keys to a room and when we went there, someone was already in there. We then waited again for another room after which we were given one. Never once an apology or thanking us for our patience.

We have family that live in Newberry it was coming home from up North trip. A wonderful facility, everyone was very friendly from the front desk to housekeeping.

My only problem was that there was only one elevator working. So, it made for long wait times. Our room was very clean.

Trip protection is a scam
We were going to visit a friend that unfortunately fell ill the day we were coming in town to visit. We had purchased the travel
Protection plan for additional cost. Tried to cancel the visit through app and was told that in order to cancel they have to contact the hotel. Was told cancellation was denied and we would be liable for charges. We still traveled 2 hours one way just to stay the night in a hot hotel room where the ac would not keep up.
