真可惜。作为半常客，我们期待着回来和家人一起吃饭。当我们带着我三岁的孩子到达时，我们被告知，是的，他们提供食物，但我们必须坐在门厅一个又小又冷的凹室里。我们被告知这是唯一可用的桌子，因为餐厅还没有开门。主区有很多空桌子，酒吧区也有几个。我不认为我明白食物是如何供应的，但我不允许坐在主座位区。所以我们不得不带着一个非常不高兴的三岁孩子去其他地方。

10th visit and it’s still as good as ever

Lovely quiet location, fabulous staff and food, comfortable and roomy rooms and close to towns and the river Tyne. We’ll be back again next year.

The hospitality at this hotel was excellent. We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon, we had called ahead to book a table in the restaurant for a late Sunday lunch which was no problem and was excellent. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very efficient. The room wee stayed in was also great, no complaints whatsoever. The breakfast was also excellent, served at your table, quality ingredients and delicious. We definitely be returning to sample the being menu in the restaurant. Somewhere we would definitely recommend to stay and eat, outstanding.
