Just checked it for one night stay, just sleeping and then on the road. So far check in very easy and room quiet and clean.

Upon check in was given a room right above a loud party that was going on. Ask desk to change room which they reluctantly did. Room better for noise but HVAC not 100% as thermostat needed a battery and read out for controls not visible. Coffee machine not clean and front desk hot
Water not hot. Staff considered it a huge inconvenience to allow me to use the expresso machine to get hot water. Not friendly morning staff. Also breakfast was costly and horrible for the price.

I had booked through an outside party and did it for 10/10 instead of 10/3. “Chantel”(sp?) at the South Portland Maine Double Tree was amazing. She saw how mad I was at myself and better than matched the price I had booked. That kind of human customer service is sadly lacking these days. Big kudos to her!

The hotel is nice and clean but the staff was rude and gave false information the TV in the room I was in also didn't work so rooms weren't checked properly before check in

Great stay
Staff was friendly, room was clean, shower water pressure was strong. Outside fire pit and downstairs bar area were great for a little relaxing.
