Tv did not work. Bed was broken down on one side leading to severe back pain. Water for showers was only warm for less than two minutes, before turning cold. Water was never hot.

We were told we would be served a hot breakfast. "Hot breakfast" meant biscuits and gravy. There also was a pancake machine. Everything was heavy carbs. Not a bit of protein in sight. The container that was marked with a picture of a egg on it was empty.

Very friendly and helpful receptionist at the front desk. Quick check-in. Room had strange smell and was in need of some care (peeling/missing wallpaper, grout in floor of bathroom) but was clean and bed was very comfortable. Nice amenities. Overall, we had a pleasant experience.

Mold and Strange Stains

It was a rough 5 day stay. My room had some staining on the couch that concerned me, mold on the lamp shade and the shower pressure was 50% because the bath nozzle wouldn't close. I told maintenance about that one and he looked at me and said, "It works, doesn't it?" Hard to argue with that logic. One day they took out the trash and took away dirty towels, but that's it. I asked why and they said they got distracted. I had a zoom call that afternoon so I had to clean it myself. When the Hampton Inn is an upgrade, you probably aren't trying too hard. Loved the region, though :)

Dirty. Old and in poor condition. Room was very musty smelling and damp. When we moved to another hotel our clothes were damp from the extremely high humidity in the room. walls and the people walking in the room above us sounded live a herd of elephants. The staff were nice.
