The hotel was nice , staff was great , only issue was there were a lot of gnats in the room and breakfast area

The room was fine, the staff was friendly, will like to see it after all the renovations. Overall, it is an ok hotel with nothing around it with lots of parking

The fitness center needs attention. No towels to wipe down the machines for the two days I was there. Breakfast items were missing and not replenitshed.

We've stayed at this same hotel on occasion over the years as we visitied the Michigan lake beaches. It has been nicely remodeled. It is a fine place to use as a home base for visiting a Dunes beach

The hotel was under construction during our stay, it was very loud with the workers installing and fixing whatever they were doing, the room itself was nice but there was a very strong odor of chemicals on the entire 3rd floor. I am not sure if it was paint, or something else that was used during the construction. Our room door did not close on its own we had to push it shut from inside the room, and pull it shut if we were leaving.

Convenient to the National Park
The room was very clean and had recently been renovated. Everything looked great including the bathroom until you used it. The bathtub was weird. The sides of the tub curved in so that the base was about 8 inches wide and just enough to put two feet together on the flat base. I felt that this was very dangerous for moving around the tub for a shower. Maybe it would be perfect if you took a bath. I’d be interested if others felt the same.
Also, the sink faucet was too close to the side. The faucet should have been extended further into the beautiful sink. Otherwise the rest of the room was very comfortable. We were on the third floor. Breakfast was great!
