We stayed four nights in Beta, for a really bargain price. As budget travellers our only demands are cleanliness, good shower and a comfy bed. Beta has it all, our attic room was big, bright and spacious, and well cleaned.Bathroom is shared, but also big ans spotless. Staff is friendly and polite, breakfast ok (only thing i didnt like is breakfast area which is in the basement,and I am a bit claustrofobic, but thats my issue ;) ) Beta is also very well connected (tram station is 50 m away, trams are fast and frequent) Its also on walking distance to stunning Vysehrad castle (it took us about 15 minutes to get there) Overall, we had really good stay there, and recommend it to all not too-demanding budget travelers :)

As a hostel, it fit the bill. There is a tram stop right outside the property, however do not be misled on a map by the closeness of the metro station. It is on a bridge literally 50 to 60 meters or so above the surrounding area. So, it is a difficult walk. The city center is about 20 minutes by foot. Also, parking is about 50 meters away. Other than that, everything was fine.

Older but good
Small hotel close to tram and metro as well as congress center. Nothing fancy, byt clean and well worth the money. Most rooms face the street, so early in the morning you can hear the trams. But generally quite with double glassing windows.
