A cozy aparthotel with good breakfasts – simple but sufficient, with all fresh ingredients. The hotel is located by the beach, perfect for someone who doesn’t expect resorts with pools and all-inclusive. Tastefully decorated, preserving Cape Verdean tradition. The apartment was comfortable, cleaned daily, with a wide selection of books in different languages. We were lucky to get an apartment on the first floor with a beautiful balcony. We had a very relaxing stay.

Very comfortable top floor apartment with amazing view of the beach. Less than 100m to the sea. Francesco, the owner, is very friendly and happy to arrange excursions, bird watching tours etc. He was also full of useful advice on the best restaurants, opening times etc. I injured my shoulder while on holiday and Francesco arranged a doctors visit and drove me to the physiotherapist himself. The staff were equally friendly and helpful (and concerned for my health) I cannot recommend Ca Nicola highly enough, and we will definitely be returning.

We stayed at Ca' Nicola for a week and had a lovely time. Large, clean rooms. Everything was in working order and if we needed anything our host, Francesco, was at hand to help us out. It is situated close to the beach as well as the center of the town. Many excellent restaurants close by and also food stores.
