When we arrived we were informed that the hotel didn't have our reservations and we're booked up and only told us to call *******. We then spent an hour looking for another hotel with everything booked up due to the football game. Eventually we found a hotel that was 5x as much as what we initially expected to pay, but at least we had a place to stay. It was a very disappointing and stressful time, but luckily we were able to fix this mistake that wasn't caused by us with no help from the hotel. Another hotel we went to actually helped us looked for a place more than the initial hotel we were staying at. Extremely disappointing.

The room was dirty upon check in. Clearly not cleaned except bed made. No soap in the room whatsoever.
Prior patrons hat on the floor. Offensive note on the mirror from prior people.

No fresh drinking cups and had dirty ice bucket.
Breakfast buffet was awful.
Coffee was so so.
Bed was lumpy
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

I want to draw attention to the great customer service I received from the young man who helped me check in. After driving for several hours, I was ready to rest, so I was disappointed to hear that he saw no record of my reservation. I reviewed my ******* booking to confirm with him that I was at the correct hotel on the correct day. He did some electronic digging, and after some anxious waiting, I heard him say, "Well, we didn't receive your reservation properly, but I can see that you paid *******. I don't know exactly what is going on with this, because we do routinely receive reservations through *******, but the manager can look into that tomorrow. I will make you a reservation through our system directly for $0.00 so you can check in and not deal with any of this." I was delighted. This was professional, thoughtful, and kind. He saw that he didn't have to accept fault or solve the puzzle in order to help me. Let's just get this tired traveler a room. What a guy! Also, I really appreciated the free breakfast offerings. Look, any hotel can pile on the luxury if guests shell out the money in one way or another. I slept well here at a place that, to me, exceeded my expectations for the price I paid.

During my checking in, the front desk employee didn’t show any education. He had two people talking with him, that in the time that I come in I feel that they started leafing of me. The employee said my room number loud, this is not safe for us, specially that I’m staying by myself. The room carpet is dirty, looks like they haven’t vacuum it for a while. In general, not happy at all.

Bed was very visibly lumpy. Would post picture but no option for that. Breakfast first morning had pure liquid eggs and sausage wasn’t cooked. Second day it was cooked but not good. Vending machine for water didn’t work. Good thing there was a gas station within walking distance. Very load bang periodically, don’t know what it was.
