Nice place. Love staying at Springhill Suites when possible because their rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Free parking. Plenty of restaurants close by. We walked across the street and ate at a good Mexican restaurant.

Unfinished upgrade?? And other slight issues
No trash can liners in any trash can in the room. The shower knobs were broken off and still had a mini knob that turned in the middle. On the other side of the shower there was a new knob to turn the water on and off. So a halfway done repair/upgrade? When turned on, water sprayed aggressively and forcefully from the center of the broken knobs on the opposite walls. Had to fiddle with the small knob in the middle of the broken knobs to get the water switched to the overhead sprayer. Black mold growing out from behind the feee shampoo and conditioner bottles that are attached to the wall in the shower. And the plastic stripping on the bottom of the glass shower door was ripped and trailing behind the door when it was opened/shut. Overall, we just needed a place to sleep for the night after a long drive, so not worth complaining at the front desk.

Solid hotel, room was clean, breakfast was nice, and was consistent with all Spring Hills. Gonzales is a nice little town, has a little bit of everything and perfectly positioned.

We were very pleased with the handicapped accessible room my wife needed. Walk in shower, multiple rails on various walls. Really very important to us.

The lady in front desk was awesome and the housekeeper supervisor was very helpful.
