Ayres Lodge in Alpine Ca was SO NICE! It was very clean, safe, various restaurants in the same parking lot and the Mexican restaurant there Manana was outstanding! The staff cleaned our room daily, replaced all towels daily and bedding. All around it was an excellent place to stay. We WILL RETURN TO THIS PROPERTY!

The room was clean, but the last two days of staff on dutywhen we were there were very rude and had bad attitudes. We wont be back.

There was always someone cleaning which was awesome to see so our room may have just been the one off but we found little hairs around the bathroom and the floors were clearly not mopped so we had to mop ourselves using the towels in the room. Other than that, we loved the location, lots of eateries within walking distance, and the 7pm warm chocolate chip cookies at the reception was fantastic!

Good cold choices for breakfast but eggs and biscuits and gravy weren’t very good. Hotel was super clean and staff was nice.
