Stayed 4 nights over Christmas as we do every year, so that we can spend the days with our family who live nearby. Excellent value. Spotlessly clean room. Warm and cosy. We do sometimes have issues with hot water…. we’ve found this to be unreliable.

Location is very close to a main road and although there is triple glazing, you can still hear trucks at all hours. The room was unclean. The bathroom especially, with urine stains on the toilet pan and grime under the sink. The floor was dirty and there were mould stains on the ceiling. We went at the end of October and there was what felt like a summer duvet on the bed. I didnt sleep well as i was cold. As for value, we paid £122 for 2 nights. So not a bad price, but i would still expect it to be clean. The parking is free, so thats something So, if you dont mind an unsanitary bathroom and a super thin duvet, plus traffic noise all night, then this is the place for you.

I had a really relaxing stay at the Travelodge Stoney Cross Lyndhurst, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice for exploring the New Forest and surrounding areas. Nestled just outside the picturesque village of Lyndhurst, the hotel is perfectly located for outdoor lovers, with walking and cycling routes right on the doorstep. It’s also close to the charming towns of Brockenhurst and Beaulieu, making it an ideal base for discovering the beauty of the New Forest National Park. The room was simple yet very comfortable. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was clean and functional, and the room had everything I needed for a restful stay. Despite being near the A31, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful night’s sleep after a day of exploring. The décor was modern and fresh, and everything was well-maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing quick check-in and offering helpful tips about the local area. While there’s no on-site restaurant, the hotel is conveniently located near local pubs and eateries, including a lovely option in Lyndhurst. Free parking was available on-site, which is always a bonus in such a beautiful location. Overall, Travelodge Stoney Cross Lyndhurst offers great value for money with a comfortable, peaceful stay in an excellent location for exploring the New Forest. I’d definitely return for another visit!

By far the worst accommodation I've ever stayed in. Filthy dirty. No coffee in the room. 2 fold out beds set up in the room booked for one person. couldn't use the desk area as there was another unwanted bed there. The cups in the room tasted very strogly of soap. Pretty sure they use the nasty bathroom soap to was them. Even after rinsing they were unusable. Lots of road noise, but its on a very busy road so that part is not really their fault, but the place desperately needs renovating. Room was also very cold, even with heater on.

Chose Stoney Cross as near to friends we were visiting. Hadn't realised it was on busy road, although noise was not an issue. Place felt very tired although answered our need for a basic overnight stay which accepted pets. Accommodation was clean and receptionist was friendly and helpful.

We stayed for two nights. The hotel was quite clean. Did have to wait 10 minutes when we arrived as nobody on reception but when they did arrive was friendly and helpful. Our room was overlooking the dual carriage way which was quite noisy, so if you don't like noise make sure to not book a room at the front. Overall was a good stay. Nothing to do within walking distance, just a petrol station and no restaurant nearby but if like us and you are only looking for somewhere to sleep and out all day, it's ideal.

Positive was the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was not terribly clean. Do not bother with breakfast! Cornflakes (no other choice) UHT milk, pain au chocolat, flapjack, 250ml water! In a box (no dining area) no hot drink.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we had a very comfortable stay, peaceful, really great helpful staff, in fact we can't wait to come back.
