Lovely hotel, as previous reviews have mentioned, close to the beach and lovely restaurants. The staff at the hotel were lovely and friendly. We originally booked the apartment (through TUI) but asked to move due to a plumbing issue. We were straight away moved to two single rooms which were closer to the main hotel site and pool (which is lovely). There are a few cats (which made it for us), however, if you leave them alone they wont bother you. We were pleased to learn they are well cared for and looked healthy). Had a great cooked breakfast and lovely cocktails too!. Daily room change and clean and the grounds are lovely and clean with the smell of flowers.

Arrived 29th Sept, had a fall on the 30th injuring my back, head and neck.contacted the hotel manager to get help and support he turned up 4 days later after I sent an email complaining.he could not explain why it took him so long to make contact. He then made me an offer of a free meal as a gesture of goodwill he would give me a free meal. What an insult, when I contacted him by email to inform him that I couldn't accept his offer,he wrote back saying that's the end of the matter. They showed no duty of care or took no responsibility for making sure I was OK.The cupboard doors where falling off, there was no sink stopper in the bathroom, the shower door was leaking and would leave the floor soaking, condition was in the room as our clothes were damp .the patio windows were all steamed up.towels where not changed enough, bedlinen not changed enough. Truly nice hotel. I would say great location as it's close to the beach, great restaurants but at the same time on a side so it's guiet and you can sleep pacefully. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Great owner who is looking after cats which is important to us as we are a cat lovers;). Also short distance to Canal D'amour which is an awsome path for walk.

Basic accommodation which was fine, nice pool and outdoor seating area, however if you do not like cats then do not book this. I don’t mind them but they roamed round my feet, in the dining area and tried to get onto peoples laps whilst eating …that is a no no! The wasps were a constant annoyance at the dining tables . They do have a good selection of food and great cocktail list and the staff are lovely. The hotel is only minutes walk from Canal D’Amour and the beach and main drag so an ideal location .

What a lovely place to stay, excellent location. Before we went I read bad reviews about being in the apartments, which were just a few seconds walk from hotel… we were in the apartments and they were excellent. So quiet and some days we had the pool to ourselves, we also spent time at the hotel pool but much preferred the quiet apartment pool. We went in the hotel bar at night and this had a friendly atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. We had a few issues when we arrived… a broken toilet seat, a blocked drain in the bathroom, we reported it to reception and within the hour both were fixed. We would highly recommend staying at the Sellas Hotel/apartments.

Just got back from a week at the Sellas Hotel. We stayed in a two bed apartment which are a separate block from the main hotel, but there is a pool there as well, which we liked as you can take your own food and drinks there, which you can't do at the main pool. The apartment was clean with a decent balcony overlooking the pool, and very big, four single beds in total so you could take your pick! They were cleaned daily and sheets changed twice in the week. The only cooking items were two huge pots but we made do and ate out most of the time anyway. There are loads of restaurants nearby with plenty of choice, we ate Greek, Italian and Chinese meals. Our favourite was Napoli in the Canal D'amour village, super friendly staff, lots of choice, huge portions, and after the first time you had a voucher each time for a free bottle of wine for your next visit! We also had food at the hotel which was also good. Yes there are cats around but they don't really bother you. Ten minutes walk to the beach where the sun beds are free outside the restaurants as long as you buy food or drinks from them, but they don't seem to really monitor this. A lovely stay and would return if we go back to Corfu.

We have just returned from staying in this hotel, after reading the mixed reviews I cannot agree with any of the bad ones. Hotel and the pool areas are nipping clean, yes the room furniture is dated (which is usual for family run hotels all over Greece). The food portions on the menu are massive and the prices no more than you would pay outside. It was only a ten minute walk to Canal d’Amour, walking either through the village or use the coastal walk it’s well worth the visit, you pass some wonderful bays on the way. Only downside for us (and anyone we spoke to) was the mosquitos we got eaten alive, both at the hotel and in resort. Top tip take plenty of repellent with you. Would we stay again YES, ground floor rooms mean you can eat and drink your own food but still be round the pool. Also as everyone else has said all the staff do an excellent job of making sure everything runs smoothly.

So, one friend asked to change rooms on arrival as there were sockets hanging off the wall with wires exposed! Next room, shower not working properly. It got sorted. Our self catering place - again, shower head sprayed water everywhere except the way it should. It got changed. Unhappy about the cost of 90 euros extra a week for air conditioning! But struggled without it. No way would anyone staying in self catering which accommodates 4 people be able to cook anything much due to lack of pans etc. The block we were in was near the road and the Karaoke bar opposite didn’t get going til about 11pm and was so loud / one night didn’t finish til 2am!! So I had little sleep for about 4 out of 7 nights. Take ear plugs! Breakfast / very basic compared to anywhere else I’ve stayed. Resort just not for us. Beach lovely and some good restaurants but too generic and British for us. No comparison to other Greek places I’ve been. Commercial and more of a party place. Booked with TUI and rep never turned up the day she was meant to. About 10 of us waiting. I contacted TUI/ she was sick. But surely could have informed hotel to save us all sitting there for an hour. So they lost out on our money for trips as we booked locally.
