We use this travelodge frequently toing and froing from the Ferry to Ireland. It's so convenient, affordable and a pleasant place to stay. Travelodge is a bit like ryanair, - Does exactly what it says on the tin'. For us, it's a perfect choice. Always friendly, clean, warm, comfortable and quiet. Really convenient location and a good place to stay if you want to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside which is full of interesting places. Also very handy for the Pembrokeshire coast path. Plenty of food options nearby and easy parking.

I stayed here for four nights while following part of the Wales Coast Path. It's a standard, familiar Travelodge format, the room was clean, comfortable & quiet & the staff very friendly & helpful. There is no on-site restaurant but an adjacent Starbucks and many shops, cafes & restaurants within walking distance. Carmarthen is a short drive away and there are many interesting places to visit nearby. It's a great base for exploring the region & I will certainly return.

Me and my partner stay here all the time with our dog, almost a second home. The staff are brilliant and the rooms are always lovely and clean. We will be back in the summer! X

Horrendous, the rooms were left filthy by the house cleaning staff, receptionist wasn’t on desk when I arrived had to wait 45mins to check in, with no apology at all when they appeared. I know it’s a budget hotel but still expected a standard of cleanliness which I certainly did not receive.

stayed with family. Had two rooms. At check inn it felt like they didn’t like their job as sounded like it was being read from a script. Didn’t feel like we were welcomed at all. Was down for family bereavement and was meeting at the savoy. On entering the room it smelt like stale smoke but was too tired and upset to even come back down to the desk. Did not have the breakfast boxes we requested and payed for as no one was there on departure. Also while we were leaving my child who thought it was funny found a dead rat by the side of my car I’m guessing the cats on the path have had this.. To be honest it was the worst stay ever for us. Went to Greggs to get breakfast. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. So disappointed!

We recently stayed at Travelodge as a family and had a really positive experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was straightforward and stress-free, which is exactly what you need when travelling with children! The room was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space for us all to settle in. The beds were especially comfy, and we all slept really well. It’s always reassuring as a parent to see that cleanliness is clearly a priority. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The location was also really convenient for exploring the area and made our trip much easier. The atmosphere at Travelodge was relaxed and welcoming, which made travelling as a family feel much easier. It felt calm, safe and comfortable — no fuss, just a straightforward, friendly environment where we could properly unwind after busy days out. The amenities were another real bonus. There are plenty of shops to browse and a great choice of places to eat within both walking and short driving distance, which made everything really convenient for us as a family. It meant we didn’t have to plan too much in advance and could easily pop out for food or pick up anything we’d forgotten. Overall, it was great value for money and a practical, comfortable choice for a family stay. We’d definitely consider staying again.

Lovely location. Staff were great and very helpful. The rooms were really clean and tidy. All the amenities were good and clean. Overall great value and atmosphere with minimal noise level. 10/10 would stay again
